Yahoo boys are one of the biggest problems in this country; They're ruining lives across the globe & bringing a bad publicity to Nigeria, but the EFCC is reportedly planning to rehabilitate convicted yahoo boys? Absolutely not. Anyone found guilty should be in prison. The fight against cybercrime should be taken seriously Corrupt Politicians bring more bad publicity in globe but since we’re good in misplace priorities let’s keep chasing shadows.

When are talk of crime particularly the crime by our young youth's we could see that some crimes are hilarious ranging from child trafficking,rapes hooliganism and juvenile delinquency all this act is a traits against humanity society.reason for all this crime varies from the roots of poverty hard economic we are into in the country,moral upbringing some people aren't born with silver spoon and have no parental Care and such they are influence by society brutality they felt neglected and to deal with society we be a good revenge because society neglected them at first place.

OP, I don't see any useful impact of crime to the society, crime, social vices are the major problem of the society, the chaotic nature of crime in the society can lead some people to early grave, some people has never recover from the shock they got from crime till this moment, I have done many research about crime I don't see any advantage of crime to the society, do you you know that in most under developed world, there citizen has suffered so much because of crime.

Such mindset should be delisted by you, it is not applicable anywhere, the negative impact of crime to the society is so enormous to the extent that the affected place will start initiating what we call community police that will he in tackling it to an extent.

I am surprised by your explanation of crime being helpful to society. Crime is anything against the rules and norms of the society.
For a social change, the thinking processes and perspective of the society should be changed, crime will negatively impact the society. As far as the testing of society's tolerance is concerned, it will be tested and reflected by the laws they have and the rule of law.

There’s no advantage or positive impact of crime. If there is no crime, there wouldn’t even be need for the social change for crime. I understand what you mean sounds like there won’t be any superhero without a villain, but let me tell you that if no one did any evil, it would have been all peaceful and no one would need people to stand up for them. Crime is evil and every country is fighting as much as possible to reduce it (because it isn’t possible to entirely eliminate it). Btw, your poll seems confusing to read.

I understand your point OP and what you’re actually getting at, but don’t you think if that is allowed without a strict penalty publicly issued for criminals, people will use it as a gateway to commit more crimes? Crime should remain unjustifiable no matter what. Crime is bad and very dangerous to the society and if in anyway the law wants to acknowledge crime is some way because of the positive social change it can bring to the society, it will escalate one day and cause more problems in the society. For those that have found a changed them through the crime they’ve committed, it is good for them and for those that won’t change despite how many crimes they commit, they should be penalised continuously for it and serve as remembrance to those wanting to engage in such acts.

Crime can never have any good effect. Crime cannot have any positive effect on the society. It is completely wrong idea. Crime always brings something bad. It has a bad effect on everyone. Various crimes are destroying our youth society. Society should be kept away from crime. Society will be less affected by it. One crime gives birth to a thousand crimes. Now whose youth society is more interested in accepting bad things than good.

Imagine a world without crime. A world where nobody is punishable because of any offense, because there are no laws either. A world where all the Citizens are well behaved. No fighting, no stealing, no rape and no embezzlement. Such a world would obviously be a perfect world. But since this kind of world does not exist, there's always a room for crime. But then I cannot clearly state the positive impact of crime in the society. If a country wants to test her arm department, maybe they send them to a war and not to promote crime because it has no positive impact in the society. I was waiting to know from Op, the positive impact of crime in the society and he failed to establish his facts.

What would have been good as in a society and the people are living together without the fear of being panic for crime, this reminds me of the olden days when our parents will have to display their market items harvested from farm on the road, market or e even in the house without being there while they are attending to other things, but they will arrange stones to signify the price for each items and when the customers arrived, they recognized what each stones signifies and pay money there placing the stones on it, all because there's no crime and people trust themselves and live in peace together in the society.

According to richbased op you really need dig deep about crime and it's effects on the society because consequences of allowing a drop of it not fighting it in all aspects is very dangerous. In as much is called crime one don't need to create any favourable room for it because it can strive beyond expectations, many of today crime that seem not able to eradicate is negligent and it now become Norm in the society, crime is crime I don't want to differentiate if any one is big or small because that crime that seem small today can generate greater things that society can't handle in future.

There is no justification for crime in any society except in the case of mental instability . The state created the instruments of the state for correction , the social system or the state system is organized in a way that, without been told , individuals become aware of principles of social conduct.

The family and school teaches these social conducts and the instruments of the state for correction and sanction. Therefore, individuals do not need to commit crime to notice or discover that certain crimes are actually crimes or that bad things done to others are actually crimes.

I think society and crime are so intertwined.As long as there are people there will be society and as long as there is society there will be crime. Every society has criminal tendency but this criminal tendency has a negative effect on the people living in the society.

Criminal tendency may never be eradicated from the society but it can be curbed and even reduced. If we didn't have crime trend in every country in this world then people of every country could live very peacefully. In the society, people commit various types of crimes like theft, robbery, terrorism and fraud.

There is No way, crime can have positive impact in any society rather it will diminish,impact negatively, cause dangerous effects and will take away peacefully coexistence in society . Examples of crime e.g Terrorism,cyber crime, Armed robbery, Human trafficking, kidnapping, Rapping, and corruption etc, how can these negative create any balance in any society. This acts can happen easily but very difficult to to eradicate.

The reason crime is so readily available in these kinds of settings is that when society attempts to rebel against one another, individual members will split off and form a new society made up of criminals, unaware that this new society is comprised of criminals, people will continue to believe that they live in a good society.

Because it is not a good idea to expel someone who has been a member of society for a long time, even if their remarks are offensive. Instead, they should get punishment so that they can make amends the following day. Crime is a really bad habit, how never pray that even my adversaries would succumb to it because the majority of people who commit crimes end up dead.

What about people who commit crime because they want to keep what they already have? A good example here is a man whose house can be taken away by the city and, seeing no other way, he commits a crime on a city employee who wants to enforce that order. By law it's a crime, but ethically the man is protecting his home and his family.

Crime is not always good or bad. In fact it rarely happens that someone is deprived to the core and attacks another person because he feels like it, wants to calm his rage down, or is interested in financial gain.
Often it's someone who sees no other way out, someone neglected for years by family and the system he's forced to live in.

It's very hard to see any thing good coming out from crime. In fact, even if there's positive impact of it in our society, it doesn't worth discussing considering the damages it could caused. I understand the Op point because I remember reading somewhere that the presence of crime help to improve the security measures in our society but I don't see that as a valid reason or as a positive impact based on what it takes to intensify the security system and what it'll cost the society.

We can not refute the fact that after crime security measures are being intensify but that alone is a negative impact on its own because it will cost the victims emotions and finance to improve the security. Fear will be created in the society and people would feel unsafe in their own society thereby affecting the living standards. Whatever angle one is talking from, crime should not seen as something that can impact our society positively.

How I wish there's zero tolerance on crime rate everywhere in the societies, people will have to engage on their daily businesses without the fear of what danger may befall them through the societal influence, also, many financial and economy activities of the people would have been controlled and well coordinated, there will be less security threat or challenges, and the rate on loss of lives and properties would have also been dealt with if the people are determined to living a free life without crime.
