Is caused by the huge number of men and women who feel that Bitcoin is anonymous, when in reality Bitcoin is so opposed to it - all transactions Bitcoin transparent and everyone in the world can see the ongoing Bitcoin transaction. People could not be capable to hook up a certain personal identity to a Bitcoin transaction right (this is why at times Bitcoin is also called pseudo nameless), but if they locate it, then they can see all the transactions you have accomplished on the Bitcoin community. BTC is very popular in any other country. So Bitcoin cannot be used with any kind of criminal activities. But we can agree that with the use of Bitcoins, those who are into ransom has increased their chances of not blowing up their cover.

Indeed bitcoin can be used for crime. With bitcoin's value, a lot of heinous activities can be thought of. Like smuggling and drug dealing, there are lots of crimes that can be incorporated with bitcoin. I guess we just need to have the initiative to report it.

Bitcoin has become the currency of choice for cyber criminals. Because of its anonymity, many criminals are attracted to use bitcoin for their illegal activities. That is why in other countries, their Government ban bitcoin to avoid more illegal activities. Although, there are a lot of criminality around the world even without bitcoin. And as for me, you can't really avoid crimes even if you ban bitcoin. Criminals will find more ways for them to able to continue their illegal activities.

You are right. nowadays many countries are banning bitcoin and As my opinion, due to criminality are increasing more than before due to bitcoin cause supid people like them, use bitcoin for doing bad kind of work & activities. Government trying to provide it.

I think cryptocurrencies could be used not only by cybercriminals. Use virtual money suitable for all kinds of organized crime. This could be money laundering, trade of weapons, drugs, financing of terrorism.

This is so not a big deal. Of course bitcoin can be used for crime and so are other things like jewelry, cash, etc. When a person decides to be bad, he will use anything that he knows and has to do a certain crime, and bitcoin could be his or her accessory.

crime is not just from bitcoin alone, even people who do not know bitcoin, they could be the target of criminals, but there is also true crime on the internet increases.
I don't think that bitcoin should be connected to criminality! Criminal activities is independent of any certain financial system. If criminal activities is linked with bitcoin then it should be checked so as to prevent any criminal misuse of this financial system.
actually the criminality in bitcoin persists as an example is investment. it's also a scam that uses a mlm or ponzi system. other than that in the real form is also still many cases

Bitcoin, it was not designed to do anything that would offend. I think it is ready for online marketing and online transactions. Advanced countries are involved in criminal activities with its security scope. If Euro and UK people use criminals, then what is Bitcoin's fault?

Correlation and causation are two different things. Cryptocurrency is not a recent invention so don't blame the anonymity of bitcoin. What should the government focus on is to secure their trading ports so no illegal shipment would sneak off. They should support cryptocurrency so that people would not think to do inappropriate operations.
I think this as a propaganda to drop the value of bitcoin in the eyes of the world, in Indonesia this has happened, a hacker from England try to hack Dharmais Hospital located in Jakarta. by asking for a ransom by paying him with bitcoin, but the police's alertness in Britain was able to arrest the perpetrator. If indeed bitcoin is used for criminals I think it's a coincidence. And I'm the one who disagrees if bitcoin is associated with negative things.
Almost all criminality are involving money, some country are claiming that virtual currency is the roots of all crimes to happen because in the first place that virtual currency is having anonymous transaction and no other party involve so they say that it is prone to be use in money laundering and other crime accessories, but in fact for me even they only see the negative side of virtual currency like bitcoin but still it helps million of people improving their life who are earning bitcoin in religious way.

Has that been hard hacking or more threads like DDoSing them for extortionary purpose? Could you add a link containing some more details?Since several days there are ongoing network level attacks against several known-or-not-so-known market places taking place. Of unclear origins, could be the market owners against each others. Could be an approach of following the traffic jam to locate the servers. Crime thriller in the making, always makes me curious.
