It is unfair if we put all the blames to bitcoin whenever we hear that there are crimes associated with crypto currencies. I do believe that increasing the crime rate is not the intention of bitcoin. But if criminals are using it then we can't help it. That's how the minds of criminals work.

I believe that's the advantage of bitcoins being exploited by criminals. It's untraceability allows bitcoin to be used in transactions of large amounts of money from different side of the earth. It can also be used in illegal transactions like buying drugs or money laundering with ease.

I agree to you somehow because bad people find easier to do their bad jobs due to the existence of bitcoins therefore this results to increasing number of cyber crimes. They take advantage on bitcoin's security aspects in doing their transactions, they now prefer more to deal with others through the cyber world because they believed that police authorithies will find harder to trace them which makes them more confident in doing their businesses. That's why even payments done in crimes like buying and selling of illegal firearms, illegal drugs and even slavery that are typically done in person-to-person meetings are now done with the help of bitcoins. These things are very disappointing to know buy we can't escape the truth that bitcoins can also be used to do evil deeds.
Unfortunately it is very disappointing. I love everything about bitcoin and crypto currency market but knowing that dark side is also in the market makes me very sad.
In my opinion, criminal will always do their best to push their criminality activity. Bitcoin is not a crime even some government don’t accept it. But bitcoin passed into some government hiring, and they pass it. For me, bitcoin is not a crime some people just think that bitcoin is a criminal activity, because the identity of the user is so limited that you can know how is that person and what will the user will do to it.
Well bitcoin can really belp decrease criminality because of the huge profit that people can gain even in a simple way of buy and selling .I believe that if the criminal will really know how to do bitcoin maybe they can get interst on doing it and in a long run maybe it can become thier great asset for survival.maybe these would be a great opportunity of gaining than to risk thierlife doing a crime for money.I think no one will risk thier life for money if there are a simple way to gain.

i think not. criminality in internet exists even before bitcoin was introduced, bitcoin only improved the works of criminals in the internet especially in the deepweb. transaction that happen in deep web involves bitcoin because it is really safe for them to send the payment taking advantage of the anonimity that the bitcoin offers.
Criminality is really normal and any fiat money, bitcoin, or any form of payment for illegal transactions can be really a target by criminals and it is now the duty of our instituted enforcers to catch them but we cannot really control and stop criminals from using bitcoin because they can and anybody can.

Their are more incidents in our universe. But anyone of us can avoid it. It depends to the government how to work it, to better community. Bitcoin can increase the rate of criminality in a country or community because as you can see that the bitcoin is anonymous and the people can take advantage of that to use it to transact different illegal things without getting noticed by the authorities. Bitcoin is decentralized so it is very risky for the authorities to fully trust bitcoin since it has a disadvantage.

Silk road use bitcoin as medium of exchange, but now silk road was shutted down. Most of bitcoin transaction is in exchange site now, people are use bitcoin as a tool to grow their wealth. I think the criminality in bitcoin was reduced so much.
yes because of bitcoin the criminal activities are now increase just like scamming people, many HYIP created to double your bitcoin mostly victims in HYIP are newbie in internet world, remember the WannaCry ransomeware they want you to send them around $500 worth of bitcoin to delete that WannaCry virus. As far as i know, bitcoin is being used to buy some illegal things in the internet like illegal guns, drugs, and also hiring a hitman. Bitcoin can be used in a good and bad way. It depends to the person if they will use it in either good or bad way. I think thats the reason why some countries ban bitcoin in their place. Even the paper money can be used to facilitate and execute a crime. So bottomline is that, bad guys will always do bad. It is just that with bitcoin, it makes their life much easier. No need to hide and make false information. They just need address and thats it. Crime has been made.

I agree with you in this very sensitive issue.Some criminal & maximum hacker used in Bitcoin for to complete their illegal activities.But i really dislike this illegal activity by Bitcoin.Bitcoin is only for legal act i support it.

How will bitcoin increase the number of criminality? They did a crime not because of bitcoin it is because they chose it.
Its a big fact of bitcoins. Maybe its the main reason why bitcoin is banned in some country. But since there's no control on bitcoin neither we can track it so i think its hard to caught those people who are involve with Criminality and illegal activities with bitcoins. For the sake of bitcoin we should stop it but those criminal mind does not care about bitcoins, they just need illegal money no matter how it comes.
