Is it as busy as a real casino?  It was a surprise to me, because in my place there was no casino.
Playing gambling with the crowd like the picture in the OP in my opinion will only make our gambling concentration disappear.  If it were like that, I might never go to a casino to get away from such a crowd.
And I will decide to play online, considering that online gambling is classified as a lot.
Yes, actually it is the same as we have in our country especially if it is holiday season, like last year, it was before up until after the Christmas season. The casino is really crowded like everyone is having fun.
But you know, I think the same way, the concentration of most gamblers might not be there but what is good about going in a casino like that is this crowd brings too much fun and you can get to know more gamblers. The essence of gambling while having fun with friends is in there.
The feeling is so different even if the casinos are crowded, I play slot machines and other table game like baccarat and poker and the excitement and the experience is really a different unlike in playing online where you just touching your screens. I do not say that crowded casinos are much more better than online casinos but the the experience are really different. But there are disadvantages like today where the virus is spreading and it is better if we will stay away with the place that are crowded. For those gamblers, it is really better to play online casinos nowadays.

I am not used to play in such a crowd, I might disregard playing in a gambling house if it is too crowded and will play in online gambling instead. I don't know if I can take the pressure of playing together with so many people with me and with people who can see how I gamble. It is embarassing in my part.

so Either the place is over crowded or have few players it does not change my mindset and i don't wanna spend more money in VIP room because i usually play 1-3 hours and after then go home.

There are actual casinos that are like what the OP shown in photo. But I don't think it will be that kind of scenario once this lockdown is over. People are now more cautious with their surroundings. Also, just take a quick look of Macau casinos and how they are responding after their lockdown. Limiting the number of players and use of face mask are observed now. I think it will be the same with other casinos worldwide when they re-open again to the public.

After this COVID issue, bet there would be lesser people than the usual but still crowded. Except that since Macau is still known for a gambling place. Perhaps, people there would just wear a mask but still can't follow social distancing.

~snip
Playing in a crowded casino is not really advisable, I don't wanna play with the crowded casino because having so many people is prone to cheating and stealing of money and it is so irritating to play because of so many people and for sure the place is so noisy and so hot because of many people.

I would rsther play where I can play comfortably, like palying online or even real life gambling but only few people because it will not be fun anymore if I am not already comfortable while playing. I will still consider playing wherr I can be happier.
Same thought here. You know the feeling of buying things but you can't enjoy it because of too much crowd. You will just get irritated by the number of people in the place. If there's a crowded casino like that in my country, for sure it's not safe. There would be a lot of thieves there. You can't even find the right place to be because you will be seeing heads wherever you look.

Different gamblers have different thoughts regarding this.

For an extrovert gambler, maybe gambling in a casino is more preferable for him since he always wants to interact with many people and seeing many people around him makes him comfortable. He doesn't want to be alone especially when he is in gambling so he would better go gamble in a place where there are a lot of people than a place where he is just alone.

I'm an introvert person and if I'm still gambling, I would rather gamble online too not because I want to be alone but it is less hassle for me as a gambler and one more is that there is no near casinos in my place. Not all of the gamblers are near the casinos and they really want to gamble so their best choice is that to gamble using online gambling sites.

I don't really prefer crowded places, a moderate amount of people is what I desire.

I can't concentrate or think of a place full of people, noise, a lot of diseases/bacteria spread out in the air. Instead of enjoying gambling, I'll still be worrying about my setting as it's not very comfortable. It's just going to spoil the entertainment I'm looking for in a casino house, and by just looking at the spot, it's very tiring. As you can see, the distancing of each person, we can't even move on that crowded pathway.

In my own opinion, it is fine for me to play in a crowded casino. The only problem that i face playing in a crowded casino that every chairs are occupied and it is pretty hard to move and to play in your table because it is uncomfortable for me if a lot of people is watching, that is why i mostly go home if i knew that the casino is crowded.
Let the virus pass first before going to crowds. There's an advice that we all know about social distancing and avoiding of those crowded areas.

Or better yet, wait to have a vaccine shot before mingling with crowded areas. So it will be months from now, before you can safely roam around. Though social distancing and use of mask will be good at the moment, but as much as possible, don't go to crowded areas if it is not necessary. Better stay at home if you have nothing important to do outside. You are helping not only yourself but also others.

That's correct as majority of the gambler are just having fun, when they are halving fun, they are willing to lose their money just to get entertain.
And, the fact that crowded casinos are so profitable, that would tell why they win most of the time.

~
Non-crowded casinos are profitable too, the only difference is the percentage of profit you make - but besides that, all of them are money-eating machines.
That depends on their operation, but we can tell a crowded casino is more profitable as they have more gamblers playing with them.
Just like vegas, even without seeing their financial report, we can assume that they are profitable as they have a good place and lots of gamblers are going to the place.

I think you are right OP and not only the crowd is noisy and won't let to focus properly, but the worst scenario is that one has to watch out for pickpockets and all other threats that arise in such a crowd. For sure the quality of playing in such a crowded casino is worse as usual, so in my opinion, it is a bad idea to play there if you are not used to such circumstances.

Comparing to the casinos in Europe this is indeed a lot of people, especially now in the coronavirus times, when everything is closed here where I live. People are now paranoid about handshakes and 2-meter distance, TBH if somebody sees this crowd, he will run away in fear of the virus. This would have a significant impact on the industry and players because a lot of them will try online gambling for the first time and many will stick to it, once they test and confirm that everything works as supposed to, but this is a discussion for another thread, I think.

Usually in crowded casinos it is most usual to lose your money.
I don't like gambling on crowded casinos because I lose my concentration very easily and cannot understand what it is going on all around me. There might be a lot of cheaters around that I could not realize.
During my trip to Batumi(Georgia) in summer, there were many gamblers around the roulette table. More than 10 people crowd were looking at the roulette ball, and they check the bets placed by the gamblers. The Iveria casino is very famous there but there is no management for controlling the limits or the betting conditions, from my understanding. Losing the concentration is the easy and hard to focus on the game in crowded places.

Addiction is addiction - it's true that crowded ones may make you keep in touch with them more and the lack of focus caused by socializing may make you end up with some stupid mistakes, but any casino makes profit because that's how their gambling equipment works.

This actually vary from gambler to gambler, some lose their focus, some love crowded casinos, actually you can make your own choice since there's a lot of casinos in the world, and if you really want to focus, you can do it online at your home.

I guess crowded casino's normal scenario will not be back to normal, at least soon due to the covid-19 that threaten people now.
They say it will take year to develop the vaccine, so that means a year for struggle on the physical casino operators.

I think they are not dumb, they see they future with the current situation so maybe they are already planning to bring their business into online, and hopefully some big casinos will consider adopting in crypto as that would really be helpful for our community to grow more.

I'm sure that the crowded casino is full of noise and fights, it is very hard to have a conversation in that crowded place. You can't hear the person you're talking to because of the noise barriers, plus, you need to take care of you wallet and other personal belongings. Honestly, it is very hassle to gamble in that kind of environment where you can't gamble properly and I'm sure that it is very hard to think in that kind of surroundings, most especially, if you are thinking of strategy to perform in a game that you are playing. It feels uncomfortable to gamble in that place and maybe it depends on the people if they are used to that kind of situation. Probably, if it will become online, it is just the same, people will experience lagging struggle in a certain gambling website.

This is where online gambling steps up. I don't know how crowded casinos are but I saw in some of the movies with a scene in a casino and it is crowded. Now I know that it is really a crowded place Cheesy.

Is it worth to play? or the crowd and the noise around you will just add to your stress?
Will you play on a crowded casinos? or just play online?
If you are a new in casinos and you are not adopt with the environment, you will feel more stressed especially with that number of noisy people around you. I'm not a gambler addict but if that is how casinos are in my place, I will not go because I don't want to go to a place with man people and I'd rather gamble online than going to a crowded casino Cheesy.

Playing in a crowded gambling casino is very irritating and you can't gamble there comfortably. Also if the place is crowded, probably there are people who have bad intentions and make a crime like stealing money and wallet. They should limit their customers to get inside the casino for a more comfortable and peaceful gambling, the noise there is for sure distracting and people will be less patient.

In terms of online gambling, there is also a probability that the platform will be crowded that results into lagging, poor visual design, clutter and other website problems. Online gambling should be also monitored by the regulator or the maker so that people who gamble online will also feel comfort and tranquil gambling experience.

I probably not play in a gambling casino which will make me more stressful, I want a gambling casino where peace and silence is present.
