Who can you really trust for advice and inspiration!?

Jacob Canfield publicly admitted to photoshopping trades
https://cointelegraph.com/news/crypto-analyst-accused-of-photoshopping-trade-screenshots

So tired of self proclaimed experts giving advice without being able to show their track record. I want more transparency!

All analysts/trading experts should use Altpocket.io or a similar service to have a third party verifying their trades and their historical performance so that you know who you can trust.

I challenge them to dare to show their real performance.
It's all on you, do not follow anyone's advice if you do the fault will be yours, learn to make decisions on your own, learning from others ain't bad but don't rely on them, just learn and apply your own knowledge

Since the very beginning when I join in the cryptocurrency bandwagon, I never rely too much on those so-called analysts, I made my own researched and comparing those insights with any available data on the market in that case if ever I made a mistake base on my calculation and even base on my judgment I never blame to anyone, But base on that accusation, about photoshopping of the trading screenshot I can say that I am correct it's not 100% reliable at all so it's better to do it by ourselves instead of relying with them. that was my opinion.

Self acclaimed analysts or influencers have a way of trying to stay afloat the game which doesn't always favour them. This is the reason why everyone should stay focused, choose their trades based on their instincts and convictions. Do not follow any analyst trying to sell off their assets.

Trading is risky and you are on your own if you have interest in trading, no expert can show you how it's correctly done unless you decide to learn yourself, I prefer buying low and selling high, less risky

I did not know that this application exists, so far, I only use tradingview to see the analysis done by trading experts, thank you for adding a reference application to see how experts trade.

No problem.
Especially for those who are paying money for signals/trading experts it should be a demand that they use altpocket.io or some other service to verify that they have the performance they say that they have.

Such an analyst has got his reputation ruined and marred. Imagine someone with over 63,000 followers losing the trust they have in mind, perhaps in a bid to make them feel how astute and professional he is despite the bear market.
Sentiments aside, he should not have done that. That good name he has been building for a long time now, all of a sudden is being destroyed.
Well, I hope he gains back the trust they have in him.

Reason why it's bad to follow trade advise. All these traders turns to experts overnight after making few gains putting their followers funds at risks under the umbrella of "disclaimer". There's no perfect trade analysis, reason why most of them always give disclaimer. But I find it annoying for using fake screenshots to gain more subscribers.

Who can you really trust for advice and inspiration!?
No one.
I never depend on anyone for trade. All the things I am doing are researched by me. I am learning gradually and I know it is good for me in long term.
For some reason, it looks like you are actually trying to promote your site here, not trying to accuse the analyst. Clever guy.

Thats what happened when they bragged to much their trading result. This is embarassing on his part. Imagine how many people rewding or maybe listening to your advises about trading and investment but will easily go down just by an admission of fake or copied materials. I know the urge of people to shill so the market can recover but this isnt good method to make that happen.

Strategy arent all accurate, but for some people it works perfectly but not all the times. Thats why I dont want to hear any analysis from an article, Ive joined traders group where they actually relied on data they have been experienced.

I have stopped following self acclaimed expert traders and do not follow anyone blindly, even if i find some logical analysis i look again at the charts and find atleast 2 to 3 confirmations of the pattern or candlesticks and after that i make a trade, in other words you are responsible for your funds so you should not follow anyone blindly but make your own decision based on both fundamental and technical analysis.
Too much experts that were taking the benefit from their followers and they are all dishonest people. I will say if someone is able doing a good research for their own trade and it's better if he can done it personally rather than follow what already created by the experts. Mcafee has become the best example about how expert can lie to the its followers.

that's funny though. Mcafee has turned to be untrustworthy individual in crypto. His credibility is already down because of what he is doing in crypto, giving false statements and supporting crap blockchain projects. yet many people still get him as Advisor to potentially attract some investors. But anyway, there are really people in crypto who are self-proclaimed experts but the reality is, they are hollow inside. so when it comes to trading, better trust your own instincts, rather than follow these ego-centric individuals. you will find that you will do better without them.

I don't follow certain traders with their trading journey, I watch them if it happen to appear on my newsfeed or being suggested automatically by YouTube or any video sharing app.

But with all of my trading journey, it's all about my decision. A part of it might be influenced by some influencers when I was too nervous to trade on my own but when I've heard something like this before, I never rely on any of them. I follow for the updates but their opinions won't affect my decisions in trading.

i doubt many will use that site to present their real trading performance, doing so will reveal their hidden secret, which means nobody to deceive anymore Wink
there are genuine crypto analyst out there and i believe they are few in number with less hype, majority are just seeking recognition and social media followers, better to be careful to the advice of analyst you take,
photoshopping trades performance just to deceive innocent people is very wrong, it could lead to someone losing their money, he should be ashamed. Sad
quite right) what's the point of telling your strategy, it will stop working) Huh Maybe he still give the keys to the apartment where the money is?

Why you want to trust anyone?

Just do trades and make profits, comparing others with your trading is really not going to do anything for you.

Just be yourself and make other inspired from you.

I do not know why people are surprise, most of these guys would post signals/trade after the trade most have played out, when you see a trader posting only his profitable trades and no loss then know that he is a scam. There is no way you can trade without making loss, even the ratio is likely to be around 45 to 55, profit to loss, it is just that when you win, you win big and when you make loss, it is small because of the stop loss

This thread could be fused to this thread https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/beware-of-fraud-crypto-analysts-5233213

Jacob Canfield has 63,000 follower. You can just imagine how much he got if these followers paid the membership fees, he wouldn't have to trade anymore but wait monthly expiration of the membership while he can just photoshop his trades. Great line of job.  After this news, he might not have the  Jacob 63k anymore on his list.

Yes, I guess a lot of them will be afraid to show there real performance, which further supports being skeptic towards them. Sad though that so many still listens and take advice from them...

Who can you really trust for advice and inspiration!?
None
Trust noone except yourselves. Start learning the basics of trading and then trade with a smaller capital. Keep a note of your trades. Build up your own strategy in trading. Improve yourself and start earning profits.
But if you are blindly following some analyst/trader, you are going to lose more than you earn.

To boldly go where no rabbit has gone before...
Personally, good traders are long term traders.
Not these newly baked trade gurus who claim they can get 345345% interest daily.

Good trader is a person who does market research, waits and then sells at an opportune moment.

But, these people aren't interesting to the avg joe who sees 20 YT videos of "how i made big bucks trading" daily
