Bitcoin has the target to use as a currency worldwide. So using the logo of bitcoin in a shoe brand is not a big deal such permitted by the industrial investment. But it's good publicity that can grow its popularity. Nothing should be seen with the small eyes or underestimate that's can be the turning point or supportive area.

When you talk about fashion and luxury goods, you can also use the blockchain technology to track the quality of the goods. VeChain uses supply chain with special chips to provide customer every information about the product what he bought.  Cool
I don't think it's necessary for fashion to apply blockchain, it can be for payment but not needed in putting it into blockchain as we can simply reads details or product description that are indicated in store or online shops, also provide videos that explains the product and show when modeled. Accepting of payment in crypto is enough but if they will give a more twist not just for hype, then it can be something popular in the future.

We will first have to identify whether the firm even needs a blockchain for it's fashion store or not.
May be it is using the blockchain word just for the hype and the project might nothing really contribute to the fashion space.
In that case it would not be wise to invest in that project. If there is a need and if blockchain can solve that need only then it would be wise to proceed with it.

Nicolas Romero, the creator of Satoshi Studio, is going to actually connect blockchain tech with fashion industry. Currently, he has developed a shoe brand. And that leads to a question: does crypto industry is ready for such inventions?
I know there are already many merchandise with bitcoin or other crypto on hat, t-shirt or something in that stile. But let's be honest: a t-shirt with poorly printed "to the moon" on it is nothing more but a meme, not a real fashion.

And the shoes that have logo is different is that what you are telling to us? They need to make their  name  be popular first before they get a lot of buyers its good idea however they need to make a unique style that will make crypto investors like it. To be honest it all crypto investors want something that have a crypto logo in their items or things they are wearing .

If people in the fashion world embrace crypto currency and the blockchain, believe me it will bring a huge solution to their fashion designing world. Because with the blockchain, you can literally hook up and get clients who would sow in small and large scakes.

Also, with the blockchain, you get to have international clients and earn in bitcoin etherum or tron tokens. I urge everyone in the fashion business line to take a charge and adopt accepting bitcoin as a mode of payment for a start

I'm curious why many old threads come up again to page one and two after long times left.

But aside from it, we update the answer and conform it to the recent situation. About crypto and fashion, today, no difficult things to be found. We can find out several platforms or sites that accept crypto as a payment method. The examples are Gobuybid, amazon, and more. there are also some blockchain technology projects that adopt crypto for fashion.

Its just a matter of time bitcoin will be among us until the tiny community
First currency, getting in to government, gaming, sport and fashion
So when someone tell bitcoin was dead that was nonsense
Because bitcoin already get in to us
With all the good project was born the future of bitcoin was no doubt about it
We will need Bitcoin and everybody will have it like everyone have a smartphone right now
Thats my opinion

I've heard that even music industry somehow profits from blockchain
A lot of industries will profit from it even though we don't even realize it yet, and that is the definition of bullish

It's a great goal to get people to know more about crypto, promotions like printing the bitcoin logo on t-shirts or hats will come in handy. The world of crypto is very wide, you can apply it to whatever you want.

Crypto and blockchain technology could be applied at every sector. Also Nike implemented for some shoes the token that represent the originality of the product. The total traceability could be a must have in the future of the fashion
blockchain can really help the fashion and art world to track originals. but for this, it is not necessary to have any special token.

Yes, every industry is ready to adopt and implement blockchain tech and crypto as a whole, I have seen a few online stores also accepting crypto even in my country but real adoption will come when the near retailer will also accept and encourage crypto payments.

I think he's just really trying to connect crypto and blockchain to the fashion industry. It's kinda good at some point because they are trying to widen the adoption of blockchain and crypto in other industry.  But as I read the article, I feel like it will just be more complicated and there is no assurance that the crypto community or the public will show enough attention to this. Since they are just starting the industry, it will take a long time to know if they will do good or not. Also for a beginning brand, their shoes are quite pricey. But let's see what will happen.

Of course cryptocurrency is ready for adoption of fashion, I want to see big fashion brands such as Nike, Hermes, Louis Vuitton,
Cartier and others make cryptocurrency products. Try to imagine these famous brands not only accept payment by crypto, but making
t-shirts, women's bags, hats and jackets with the Bitcoin logo is truly extraordinary. If this is realized will make the cryptocurrency
market is increasingly rising in price.

i like the idea of shopping clothes using bitcoin

Using bitcoin for shopping is not a good idea at the current bitcoin price because the transaction fee will be very high when compared to the value of the items. Use coins/tokens have small value, fast confirmed transaction as XLM, DOGE ... would be more appropriate.

Oh God, I doubt if this will ever work, unless the fashion bags are the most pricey ones, do not go cheap designs with crypto and blockchain and as a matter of fact it's really not needed, this is just the way I feel

{ .. snip .. }

So it's more on logistics side? If he has a big shoes empire that produces billions every year then it might be good, but if he is a mid designer then it's better to used centralised database, IMHO.

@TrevorS  - yeah, it might be just a PR stunt on his side, probably just wanted to join the so called 'crypto revolution' and tells everyone in the shoe fashion industry that he is the first to adopt blockchain.

I guess Romero, maybe a crypto enthusiast, is just trying to ride the popularity of crypto and be the first one to really bring blockchain closer to fashion. I'm not sure though if it is effective, we have to look at how blockchain will benefit us and the fashion industry.

As far as I understand, maybe just a simple database will fit the need, no need to used blockchain technology at might complicate things, just saying.

Personally, I think that all this is pretty dubious PR for Bitcoin. Although, on the other hand, even bad PR is PR.
I don’t think that large phishing companies will use the slogan of Bitcoin and brick currency in the broad sense,
because in fact Bitcoin is a little-known and rather unexplored asset with an interrogative reputation for large masses.

In addition, PR Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency, the owners of the fashion industry are at risk of being accused of shilling coins from the general public.
