Using bitcoin for criminal activity or a good thing will depend on each people, and I think they will know what they suppose to do with their bitcoin. But yes, when the criminal happens using bitcoin, the media blows up the news and blames bitcoin for criminal activity. But I am sure that people are smart and wise to read the news, and many of them will still use bitcoin for a good thing.
I think we can say that the only thing that bitcoin is blamed for all of it is that for its being decentralized. Those criminals takes the advantage of using it in some illegal transactions because bitcoin or crypto transactions are definitely anonymous. You can send anywhere or to anyone by just a simple address. We all know that this has an advantage yet it also have a disadvantages. In gambling I can say that crypto is a very helpful thing because many people get started to know it and learn how to manage their money while of course some also become slave of their greed.
Because the government can't see where they send money and who are the receiver. The government doesn't like that, so they don't approve until now. Yes, the criminals are aware of that. That will not be a problem for them to convert their money into bitcoin in a large amount to send the bitcoin amount to their friends or the other department from their organizations anytime. In gambling, crypto can help us to play gambling anonymously without anyone knows. But that needs our attention always to manage our money.

exchanges are currently working hard to get their customers to comply with KYC measures and it seems to me that in the future KYC will go to gambling sites. from what I see in the gambling it still allows people to use the sites without having to do KYC, but at the same time it becomes a great source of problems as people abuse the system and create many accounts and in the end it comes disputes between customers and gambling sites.
My point is that we have to prepare for the future where we will have to do KYC on the gambling sites and we will have to respect the gambling sites when they ask us to do KYC, and it is boring and irritating to do KYC, but we will have no choice in the future

Actually I took a minute to check the site and he was promoting it rightly as stake offered 3x winnings and the casino promotion from Spinomenal was indeed rightly mentioned.It was unfortunate that Adesanya lost and all the dreams of 3x winnings with it too but the promotion was real and could have been quite nice if Adesanya won and people bet on him.
Talking about gambling with crypto, it is so famous because a lot of guys actually bet from illegal jurisdictions and they are not asked any questions or KYC from these sites and hence gambling is so popular among crypto users. Sites like bet365 trouble a lot and some people even buy accounts to bypass KYC but still face problems, so crypto is the only viable option for them.

Do you guys think gambling could be one of the main catalysts for Bitcoin becoming more widely adopted?
Due to government banning any physical form of gambling, online casinos became the alternative to continue satisfying ourselves as a gambler. So yes it is one reason for crypto to become popular and widely adopted because it is the currency that we need to use in order to gamble.Fast, easy, cheap and not covered by such banning rules of the government.
Gambling could become one of the catalysts for bitcoin's worldwide adoption, seeing as countries imposing stricter and stricter rules on gambling, and fiat is slowly depreciating, gamblers may find good worth in trying out crypto gambling sites. Especially those who are provably fair, since that's what most gamblers of today are looking for.
Op, you are wrong at one point that I would like to tell you - restrictions on players' accounts. I have seen many complaints raising about players' accounts being frozen due to many reasons like suspicious activities, KYC problems and some more. So I don't say that they are safest way, but yes, some good casinos are operating clean and they don't bother their players with shit like these and even pay huge winnings like Stake did a few days ago.
Unnecessary KYC will indeed be the death of this industry, yet we can safely assume that future advancements, this wouldn't be a problem anymore.
