Many people are selling all their coins and leaving the market: They might return..who knows. Manipulation is to blame and now there is a lot in the press about how cryptos have crashed!

Well I think your brain has gone shitty also to think about a crash. You don't have a good investment on crypto, maybe a 100 bucks that's why you are bagging for a crash. Soon all those shitty things you talked about, Wil reduce

There have always been scams in crypto, but it did start to annoy me that in the past a $3 million dollar ICO used to be a lot of money and more than enough to get a project going, and now lesser projects ask for tens of millions of dollars. For that reason I hate ICOs now. NXT was like $3,000 or some ridiculous low amount, and look at what they created at the time. One guy.

Onion is not a scam, in fact I love it because it was the complete opposite of the current ICOs. All community, with different people volunteering their service. Just like NEM.

Every young space with a potential and attention of investors have lured scammers as well. They want to take a part of the pie by more or less sophisticated frauds. What is my point of view? I would say "an ounce of prevention is more than a pound of cure." Investors can protect themselves by not giving money to unknown people over the Internet, for example. The blockchain is not like a bank or PayPal- you can not take back a transaction. This does not mean there will not be shady businesses anymore, but minimizing the risk is the best thing you can do in order to protect your money. If more people realize it, scammers would be significantly less successful Wink.

This is why those who make their own research, analysing the ICOs goals,  Team, WhitePaper . Roadmap etc. will  have chance to make profit and those who jump in and through their  money in a black hole  without any investigation will probably lose their investment.
Simple as that.
It is everybody`s own responsibility where is investing their  own savings.

I think that there are some problems which ruins community and scam is the very first. However I really believe we can cope with all of them and find a way to build a stronger system

Scams everywhere now. Greedy ICOS that for some reason need 20 million dollars for a small project, Ridiculous.  Greed everywhere, thousands of coins that serve no purpose.  This is so far removed from satoshi's vision.  Premine bullshit  scams like onion.  Projects that have no reason to be on a fucking blockchain except to cash in money on the hype.  We need another fucking crash to clear out these shitcoins and scams, and you greedy mfer ICO devs are the cause of this bullshit.

Not gonna happen. As long as there are exchanges willing to host scam coins there will be scam coins.  Ox Fina was one of the earliest scam ICO's and they are still traded on Cryptopia, despite being warned that this was a scam coin. The developers stopped posting on social media after the coins were distributed.  You want to clear the market then you need to start putting pressure on the exchanges.

I agree. Money talks man, as long as there are exchanges that accepts PND shitcoin, this crytpomania will not gonna stop immediately.
Only one thing could eliminate this scheme, when all coins are obliged to comply certain regulation from the government or the state. In that case, scammers will likely to distant themselves in the teeth of the law. But for now, this has become so rampant, you can see it everywhere.
Completely agree with this one which as long there would be exchangers that do easily list out these coins this cycle would continue and cant really be completely be stop, count on more into decentralized exchangers too where coins can be traded without any permission of anyone. Greed is greed and cant really be remove into a certain person if they do saw the hype is too high on crypto they do make this as an advatange to those greedy people itself. They create new coins, make their hands dirty on creating unrealistic whitepapers and roadmaps then launch and ico then ran out money or dump out their tokens or simply scam then its an easy money for them. Sad to know but this is indeed the reality.

That is true, scam project are common these days, no real solution they just want to raise money from ico for personal use which is giving bad reputation to blockchain.

At this time, it's very difficult to find a good project on this market so that it was definitely successful and you did not lose money. I think now it is better to just buy coins that are already on the market

In a small defense of ICO projects, I can say that they provide work for many people. There is in this a share of benefit. the negative aspects are that more than 90% of projects and coins will not be useful to anyone, except the developers of these projects.

Yeah too many Icos make crypto market look like a trash can and community need to decline to buy scam coins to make crypto market grow again. Ico is the best ways to raise fund for new project, so we cannot control to keep crypto clean.

I agree with the author that such market participants adversely affect the reputation of the crypto world. I hope that there will be regulation of ICO projects.

Yes, the young industry of cryptocurrencies attracts scammers. This situation is typical for many types of activities that are not regulated by law.
No,it will never happened, crypto was encountered difficulties right now but not gone already because this currency has the highest potential in near future as we adopt and known for this kind of technology. All we have to do is to continue supporting and promote this as a single currency. Be patience and wait in a couple of months because for sure it will increase again.
Yes, of course, we have to be patient because the current crypto is indeed in a very bad condition. We just need to set up strategies for the future. And be more careful before taking any decision in this crypto.

This of course people start misusing something that is easy to earn some easy money. Crypto and the things associated with it provide a very easy way for people to do it. But you must remain vigilant and careful because the crypto is full of risks that will happen.

Perhaps the current time there are too many scams and unreliable ICO. So many people lose money and get scammed. However, you should be wise and thorough before deciding to invest in any ICO. Include ideas, staff, project implementation, roadmap, platform, etc. It determines a lot the success of a project.
