My only stipulation is that a 4 quadrant palace be built where d2 and d3 intersect in lieu of a 1 quadrant palace being built on each of the four lots (d1-d4). That a 2 quadrant palace be built where d5 and d6 intersect, and a 2 quadrant palace be built where d7 and d8 intersect. The rest of the lots should have 1 quadrant palaces.

The palace only looks "1 quadrat" in the map that has such a low resolution. In reality its footprint is 14x16 m and it is 2-floor with a raised terrace in 1st floor (included in the footprint) and a balcony in the 2nd. It is aligned with main entrance raised at 1 m high, towards the street.

We don't have a ready design for a "4 q palace" (~480 sqm), it is a separate commission if you want to have one. We can design a ~240 sqm house and use it to fill D1-D2, D3-D4, D5-D6, D7-D8 so in total of 4 such ones (with the lots resized to be double as big as well!), and 7 existing model 120 sqm palaces in the other lots you purchased, I hope this is acceptable.

Nowhere, that is the beauty of a non-changelog DB as our current drinks DB is..  Embarrassed

Tavastia has adjusted the stocks and prices are very competitive, only one Roopatra lowask in W1604 is floating, all the rest are Tavastia's. Please inform if stocks run low, we are eager to restock. (You may have seen that the prices at source (IC conversion rates) have gotten worse lately, so building large stocks is not prudent).

Zenon has been satisfied with the effectiveness of SW1 and SW2 (especially the latter that he had 5 bottles just for test). Therefore, the price of SW2 has been raised to 2.5 mil (formerly 2 mil) and 2 bottles of SW1 from his personal stock (of only 4 bottles total) have been listed for 15 mil each.

Only a 65 bottle run of SW1 was made and 60 bottles gifted to the councillors. Coincidence or not, but the councillors' average health decline was -64 points, compared to the general population of -512 points. Based on this, and the average health of the population, Zenon has estimated the average life expectancy remaining to be 30-35 years, and hints of individual situation can be seen in /CHAR and the same format soon in Ultima as well.

Whoa, what happened to my wine cellar =!  Shocked

Due to the laborious procedure in doing it well, manual drinking was conducted 2 years at a time. So the (up to) 400 bottles of the wine you thought you had, were added to battling the health challenge.

Completely unscathed, without health decline, survived 8 characters.

I gave mercy and bought drinks according to the character's means if none were stocked and the health challenge was severe. The "drink plan" was the guide here.

Drinks consumed and the remarks:
BEER - 14103 - Some noticed that if the challenge is almost conquered and progress is slow, beer might not do that much worse than wine.
MEAD - 7906
W1601B - 3078 - This became a favorite perhaps because it was priced very aggressively compared to the French wines
W1600 - 1877
W1604 - 1654 - This needs cellaring but was popularly consumed due to low price.
W1603A - 1629 - Good as usual. At peak. Some strangers expressed concern that despite the equitable initial distribution, the rich have too much of this wine in their hands and it rots, while the poor have needed to drink theirs already, and are thirsty.
W1602 - 596 - This wine made one expert believe that the wines get not only better but also more healthy with age.

W1600M - 75 - This wine has not matured noticeably in 6 years and the King is feeling itchy whether it will be ready for the quartermillennium (not even thinking of the supposed 20/20 it has been appraised to reach then).. While the wine can be bought, sold and consumed, since it is a gift from the King, Tavastia urges everyone (esp the nobles) to not speak of the matter in public or do hasty actions with it.

RME - 104 - This jesty drink needs marketing!

RUM - 27 - In a King's party, a battle broke out with some saying RUM is better than RME. Is was settled with the vote ending in 13-15 for the former and 14-18 for the latter, which indeed do intersect!

SW2 - 24 - A nice amount of this potion was consumed, and Zenon's notes indicate that typically the effect of 1 bottle had felt equal to 1-2 cases of wine in living subjects. And no one has died yet!
CLXII - 18 - A rumor has been put out that not only healthiness affects price upwards, but the loop is two-sided..
SW1 - 7 - The recipients' curiosity was overwhelming so many had a bottle. Effect is difficult to discern from the other healthy drinks they have access to. Zenon has finally publicly confirmed that the silver molarity is 5x that in the other potion.

Sorry for those who would have played this differently (eg. who drank beer or mead when their resolve is to never do it, or bought too expensive drinks when they'd rather suffered the health - I did my best and next time is in Ultima Smiley )

Sir Noms of White Cross looked over the new borough 9 and saw some exciting developments. The C, NE and E chapelries had been purchased and were starting to become developed. He decided that now was the time to act, and has priced his properties affordably so that all can get in on the land-grab bonanza!

Introducing The Quad, a microcosm designed for the player that likes urban life combined with a fun neighborhood and large parks. You can buy small lots, perfect for storefronts on the outer ring, or enjoy a large center lot surrounding a park. There are also larger corner lots that can be had for cheap as well.

The Marchioness of Neverland was feeling adventurous and took her unicorn Star on a trip to the southern empire, Konstantinople. It is wonderful how fast a unicorn can gallop, it almost feels as if it was flying, surely some kind of unicorn magic is the only explanation.

The Marchioness in in awe of the southern empire and its many gilded domes, there are people of many skin colors and different dress styles, several times a day the call for prayer fills the air with loud chanting from every place of worship in the city, the wonderful bathhouses are a place to make friends and alliances while enjoying the pampering, the grand bazaar is a market place to trade everything that arrives to the city from the vast trade network.

The Marchioness is enjoying her time so, that she is not even fazed by Tavastia dominating the land market in Borought 9. But how does she know, when she is so far from the Kingdom? A golden unicorn has magic powers, and the Marchioness is able to use the unicorn´s horn as a looking glass, to see what happens in distant places.

Laying down on a luscious pile of pillows and fanned by the servants to keep the air cool: the Marchioness inhales deeply from the curious looking water pipe that locals use for smoking tobacco.  “Come Star”, she says, “-the land may sell or it may not, but let us worry about finances later. For we are in exotic Konstantinople and should explore all its treasures while we are alive and free!”

Wide roads connect the central chapelry to the western and eastern chapelries as well. There are beautiful public gardens for any passerby to enjoy.


We decided to have a challenge - which one gets to sell the land better! Roopatra has not probably used all her tricks, but neither have I - some may still remember that high-priced land was in the 1520s sweetened by a 1,600 CKG gold medal, free architecting, and even a promotion to Prince(!).

The auction lasts for ~48 hours from this post. The minimum bid is 10mil /q for all lots, (except A1).
All properties that get bid will be sold to the highest bidder at the end of the auction. "-Why is the land so cheap?" -somebody cries from the crowd. Well, perhaps at the end of the auction it will not go that cheaply, but we will let the market decide what the land is worth.

(Kindly note that the roads and parks visible in the plan, are not yet built, but will be at the earliest convenience, hopefully from the profits of this land auction. Lot A1 is the choisest and primest and the centralest lot in the 9-C: it has views in all directions and maximum sunlight, as well as level 4 park access. The lot A1 is on sale in a Secret Auction; bids are only accepted via PM here in bitcointalk and the bids are secret. It is not allowed to withdraw a bid, but it is possible to raise your bid anytime during the auction, which might be wise if you see the surrounding land going for higher prices. The minimum bid for lot A1 is 200mil. And since it is in our best hopes that the finest lot in 9-C will have a magnificent building standing on it, the Architect- and BI fee are included in the lot price! On magnificent buildings this alone could save you 100-200mil! This is how I hope to encourage the new owner to build something wonderful on the lot without delay, and let us all rest our eyes on beautiful architecture in 9-C.

Now the consols are behind us, although there is this Jungherr Paul who forgot to place a bid and is now trying to fish for 9.5 mil. Some quick profit is thus offered. Also Town will be debating whether to offer a ladder of asks making the (hoped for) price rise more orderly.

Wine market has returned to normal, with Tavastia having nice asks in most brands:
- W1601B barley wine is better than ever, but also cheaper: Tavastia price is 0.045 only!!

Collectible gold coin market is resurrected by the King's Coinshop:
Sir noms was having this in the antiquity, but now he needed to release the massive value tied up, and sold the coins to us! In total, 83 coins are now priced very affordably, so you can check what is missing from your collection and fill the blanks!
