We frequently get asked if paying for a press release on a crypto news site is worth it.

It depends a bit on where you are as a company and what your current goals are.

Before you do any paid PRs make sure you ask the publisher these questions:

COVID-19 (popularly known as the Coronavirus) is playing a huge role in this week’s drop in the cryptocurrency markets (and financial markets around the world). In this episode, Ty & Kylie discuss how COVID-19 is affecting crypto and crypto marketing, what other top crypto marketers are doing, and how Ty thinks blockchain marketing teams should adapt their marketing strategy.

Seems interesting topic in overall, btw to be fair I compare current crypto marketing to music/song marketing, similar of when band tries to spread it's songs and does a lot of live shows, radio interviews and etc.
Do you plan to invite guests from Bitfury? Because this company actively works on blockchain technologies and they had some really successful projects which includes land title registry done by using blockchain technologies. They also plan to do new things actively with blockchain technologies and integrate them in governmental services.

The best way to raise awareness around your project, to my mind is paid articles. CCN, Cointelegraph, Medium and etc play a huge role there.

Very nice .. would like to know your thoughts on using twitter in crypto. Because there is lot of noise with junk ICO spamming etc

Like the commenter below you said, I recommend checking out the 4th episode and it spends a good amount of time focusing on Twitter specifically.

Not OP, but they actually talk about this in the 4th episode of the podcast, there's a really interesting discussion about it with The Crypto Curator.
It's not too long, just around half an hour.

These are pretty interesting Daniel, I'd definitely be interested in joining one of these if you ever want to have a dedicated episode about Steem.
I've got some pretty interesting contacts there as well, such as Oracle-D, which is a company that's crowdsourcing content on Steem to promote a wide variety of businesses.

Looking forward to the next episodes!

Cheers!

You guys should make a podcast with Ivan Golovko, a CMO from LTO Network. He's a funny guy and enjoyable to engage with. Compared to most TG admin, Ivan is different and unique imo. Should be a great discussion partner about community engagement.

If you are connected with him have him shoot us an email at [email protected] and we will get him on the show.  Wink
