So, there are tons of people who will believe in a ponzi scheme while telling everyone it is not a ponzi, that is what ponzis do best, convincing people they are not a ponzi scheme while scamming them.

He is basically saying to know a scam you must look at their experience to see if it is worth the shot which in any case isn't a good idea especially when you think about how scams fake their identity and credentials to fool a lot of people.
