Basically cryptotrading is riskier and pays of better sometimes that stock trading. It can done without the need for a broker by you. Classical candle stick patterns may not be as classic signals like those seen in stock trading but can be used sometimes to execute good trades too. The extreme price volatility is what makes cryptotrading sometimes highly risky
Price volatility is the common differences among the two regarding crypto and stock trading which we can saw that rewards would be entirely different to each other since we do see its more riskier to trade with crypto because of price volatility but yet its more rewarding than on stocks can able to generate up.Its up to you if you would decide to trade on less risk than on higher one but expect on the outcome would be really different.
If you can take a higher risk then the answer is crypto, you can grow your money faster with crypto trading and you can also lose
your money faster, the result will still be depending on your skills, if you have the skills and your know the right technique to be profitable
then maybe it's right to choose the one that can maximize your income faster.

The different is fluctuaction and the volume, cryptocurrency market just like baby so the volume still lower compare stock market. And also more high fluctuaction in crypto market so the risk and the return also more high. Some crypto also unregulated but in stock market usually full regulated.

Having been doing the crypto investing and trading for 2 months now. i am well into it.
i never ever really got into stock trading much, other then long term
or day trading stocks

what is the difference between crypto trading and day trading in stocks? would one be following a similar format?
what are the similarities and differences?

look forward to all your kind replies
There is a similarity with the basics of trading between the two but in a fundamentally sound aspect crypto trading is a lot better than stocks trading, prices are more volatile in crypto trading than stocks trading, there is an advantage for some countries that do not impose taxation on trading of cryptoccurency while in stocks trading all ( it must be all) of the countries has taxation on that one, it's easier and more convenient to trade stocks trading via exchange websites than local stocks exchange. One thing only gets in my mind that stocks trading is better than crypto trading which is stocks are backed by an assets of the company and you earn passive income through dividends.

Crypto trading shares similarities with stock trading. Both requires a great deal of research into the asset you wish to trade. But a major difference is the price fluctuation between the two . While crypto looks quite risky and can result your account turning zero, stocks arent much risky,it can take even a whole year and a stock will be trading along the same price range.

Crypto and stock trading are very similar both also uses stocks signals, charting and other trading materials to predict price movement. the major difference is Stock trading is regulated by national government while Crypto market is not regulated yet. Stock trading is only limited to one's country while crypto trading is traded worldwide.

Crypto trading is manipulated by smaller groups of individuals (the whales) than the stock markets. This produces bigger upswings and downswings which make it possible to win or to lose a lot of money. But this also creates some patterns which are a bit easier to read that the ones in the stock market IMO.

Crypto trading is more risky than stock trading but I believe that the more risky is higher the gain.

Actually, the risks are the same. You can lose all of your money. The difference lies mainly on the volatility. Stocks are solid, they don't go wild like what crypto does.

There is no doubt in this thing that crypto market is very fast changing thing and all those who understand this thing deep are now millionaires of the crypto market.

We should really feel this thing that here in this market, decisions should be made quick and we should not waste time neither during dumps nor pumps especially when the coin is bitcoin. We need to stay updated regarding this market all the time.

Crypto trading and stock trading are almost the same. With regards to the volatility of the price or the sudden changes to price, its the same. It has also the same amount of risk involved. The only fifference is that stock market are stocks and are stuck on that market while being traded and cryptocurrency trading can be a medium of excahnge or can be used as a legal tender and can be exchange for either goods or services.

In cryptocoin, you always have the risk, that your exchange is hacked.

Most of the exchanges have slow rest apis.

Crypto markets are much more volatile, but this can be a good thing if you know how to trade well. It's also much more speculative(right now) compared to well-known stocks. 24/7 trading is also a great advantage to crypto. Because it's still new and the big players haven't entered the market much, there is profit to be made from arbitrage between exchanges & market making large spreads. Also, we're on a strong bull run rn for the whole crypto market so it's not hard to make good profit.

Before jump in to crypto trading i has been in forex and stock trading in about 2 years but in fact i can not make profit consisten from that, and since i move to crypto long term trading i can make some profit with consistent and more easy to do it, just buy some good coin and hold it a few month. So i prefer to doing crypto trading than stcok because more easy to gain profit from it.

I think the crypto markets have 'true' price discovery. I also think this may dissipate with time as so many hedge funds and banks are getting into the space. The crypto markets are much more volatile than the conventional stock market with huge gains and losses within 24hrs. (Thats why day traders love cryptos)  An example of extreme price movement is when a crypto trades over the Bollinger band >8 days in a row. This is very rare in the conventional markets, but fairly common with the cryptos.

Now the conventional markets: The big banks (Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Citi, etc...) run high frequency trading algorithms and have been known to naked short stocks which is illegal. (But who's watching them? The SEC? LOL)  When they do get busted (which is fairly often), they pay a fine of ~20 million dollars... but they made 100 million before they got caught...
I do not really know about Stock Trading, but I've heard many people say that it's too risky. When I explain this to someone else, someone says that I should not do it. Better to find a more definite business only. Too much risk and analysis and research needed. And in my opinion, cryptocurrency is better. Although they are not much different, but cryptocurrency is easier to do. That's because you can buy cryptocurrency freely and sell freely as well. Especially with the presence of Bitcoin and Ethereum, it makes economic growth easier. Not just day traders who love cryptocurrency, long-term traders also like it.
