Can you please add Feathercoin  Smiley It's based on Litecoin and Scrypt and thus won't suffer from ASICs messing up the difficulty.
Does feathercoin have an exchange yet that isn't orderbooks? I think that would probably be a requirement to show up there

It's moving. Slowly. It got too much hashing power almost immediately then they disappeared. Someone pointed their large GPU / ASIC farms to it then left. I've got 2.1 bytecoins, so I'm interested to see if this is going to be worth something.

Can you add bytecoin?

Is Bytecoin still alive?  The IRC channel has dried up and the one automated exchange has disappeared.

Hey i was wondering where you were getting your stats from because for some reason terracoin (at the moment) says 399% profitability vs btc... other times it will be 600% ... Are you taking these from pool? p2pool?

That is all because difficulty swings crazily with TRC.  So what you are seeing is a snapshot at any given time.  I think TRC is addressing this, but it still impacts any attempt to calc profitability.

Hmm, this site is telling me that TRC is up 300%, and telling me I would mine 27coins/day. Yet after a night of mine at higher than normal speeds I only mined 4. I pretty sure something is off with the site

It isn't off.  TRC's difficulty swings wildly so what you see is the profitability at a given snapshot.  To me, TRC's average difficulty has lead to a profitability less than BTC over the past 12 hours (see my site for a chart)
No, it is on the wrong chain.  The TRC dev made another hardfork with only a few days notice, and no real announcement, no alert sent to old versions.  In the future, I should receive emails when there is any activity on the github to reduce the likelyhood of this happening again.

I'm pretty angry myself as I was mining on the wrong chain for over a day. Angry

EDIT: I'm now on the right chain.

This site is excellent, thanks for this contribution!

You might consider adding FeatherCoin... looks like it's gained a little following already.

I think his client for trc needs to be updated because the diff is just off.

It would be nice if the diff would be checked a bit more frequently for TRC specifically. Someone has been gaming the diff and cleaning up the majority of blocks for days now, it's hard for people that aren't solo mining to really see the issue playing out.

Anyways, excellent service.

I believe the recent fork was made precisely because of that problem, so the swings should be much milder now. No idea of the exact details, though.

Looking at the stats on coinotron each block has a different difficulty, so averaging them out seems sensible to me.

I'll remove the smoothing and see how things look.

Is my site right on TRC?  I am using info from a public block explorer.

Looks correct to me.

If so, you are on old, now abandoned TRC blockchain. Gratz for being ignorant on notices and warnings about mandatory upgrade! Grin

I think he means my site at http://www.coinchoose.com.  Is that one wrong as well?

TRC explorer and my node 0.1.3-38 = block 110407 difficulty 11939.784 but 27008.146945855326 on your website, so something is not right on your side.

I average out the difficulty on TRC over the past hour - so it is different.  This accounts for the wild swings (since miners don't usually hope off each minute), but open to other suggestions

I was talking about http://www.coinchoose.com there. However, now my terracoind shows a different difficulty (11663.00545825) than that site (25435.61495618385) for block 110417. The difference was much smaller when I first checked.

BTW, can anyone explain why terracoind shows the difficulty of the last block, not the difficulty of the next block to be generated? This can be easily observed when comparing the network difficulty from cgminer and from terracoind getdifficulty. Is this just working as intended, I realize it wouldn't matter so much for BTC and other chains that don't retarget frequently.
