Is my site right on TRC?  I am using info from a public block explorer.

Looks correct to me.

Terracoin has forked, looks like the site is still displaying data from the wrong fork.

I dont understand why not all altcoins are put into ripple. Then there should create an exchange course that could be used here. But im asking myself... if there isnt even an exchange that bothers to include such coin... who will buy such coins then? I mean you can only turn it to bitcoins if you can sell it.

Assuming Dust has the same issues I have, you need a true exchange that alows converting the alt to BTC  to calc out the profitability.  I actually added BTE to my site, but the lack of a true exchange with an API makes it a large hassle.  Even adding Freicoin (which requires two exchanges to get to BTC) was hassle enough.

PPCoin, TerraCoin, AND NovaCoin all more profitable to mine than LiteCoin.

^ I never thought I'd say that.  Shocked

But only LiteCoin will still be around 1 year later.

PPcoin will be fine.

NVC has been added to the list (don't DDoS the messenger  Wink).  It is currently 70% more profitable to mine than LTC.

How is it more profitable to mine than LTC?

Difficulty swings dramatically in TRC now.  It could be a timing issue - look at the block count to see which site is quicker.

Why does this website have so different results partly? http://coinchoose.com/
For example this site here shows 70% ratio, the linked one shows 126%. The values seems to be relatively even.

Which currency?  To things differ on the calc between dustcoin and my site.  Mine uses only Vircurex for the pricing, while Dustcoin looks at other exchanges as well (like BTC-e).  In addition, with regards to TRC, mine now does an averaging of the difficulty over the past hour (since it is prone to wild swings now).  I am not sure what Dustcoin does.

It was Terracoin. It showed 70% before, now it shows 327% on dustcoin. And now i see whats the difference. The price is nearly the same but the difficulty is very different. 34978.436 to 9328.

Is it there and I can't see it? Source and time/frequency of last update.. a simple grid of numbers, could be badly out of date and/or from a poor sample/unrepresentative exchange.

the hashrate calculator is definitive wrong atm, I have to put in 35000 instead of 1500 on both algorythm to get the real profit.

Me too still... I'm glad to hear it as I was starting to think just me and one other person had the problem, lol.

Heh - I have that site.  Having a few issues with the zapto API (which isn't quite as well documented as I hoped).  Working with the Zapto's site creator to work through them....

heya,
can u add freicoin profitably like this site? http://www.coinchoose.com/
there saying: "(except Freicoin which is first converted into LTC at http://exchange.zapto.org/exchange/2/6 then converted at Vircurex to BTC and Bytecoin which has a hardcoded price)"

Given that the profitability factor looks at exchange rates into BTC, my guess is alt currencies are considered once there is an exchange with an API that allows for retrieval of pricing.  On my site I added Bytecoin, but only with a hard coded exchange rate based on the info thread.  I suspect Dust has the same issues.

Hi Dust,

Great work, thanks for all that you are doing.  At what point do you consider including additional Alt coins.  I see BBQCoin and ByteCoin listed as candidates on the "List of all Cryptocoins" thread in this same sub-forum, and have no idea how much work adding an additional coin entails?  I can't speak for BBQCoin at all, but I see that ByteCoin currently has about 150 GHash of network activity, which has mined 14,000+ coins vs Feicoin at 22,000+, so it's 'getting there'.

Anyway, just throwing that out there.
