I've had the most terrible time with Crypto.com and can only recommend that people avoid them like a Covid carrier  Angry

I applied for CDC card over two and a half months ago. The card went to Issued status within a couple of days, after passing KYC without any problems.

Since then, I have received nothing.  I have chased them via the in-app customer support, which takes hours to respond. Initially the response time was days.

Customer support limit the information that they will tell me. After much pushing, over a number of weeks, they have finally said that may card has been physically issued and that it is waiting dispatch. They cannot tell me where my card physically is, when it will be dispatched, or when I am likely to receive it.

They cannot even give me an indication of whether it will be weeks or months.  They will not unstake my CDC from the 180-day stake period, even though they cannot tell me when my card will be available.

They have also suddenly introduced a restriction on their rewards programme, without any notice - https://help.crypto.com/en/articles/4597450-restriction-of-cro-rewards-programme.

Avoid.

I have had a very good experience with Crypto.com.  It continues to be that way.

My Indigo card took around 6 weeks to arrive, no big deal, its exactly the time i expected it to arrive when i was speaking with the fine people in the Crypto.com Telegram chat (you can find link on their website).

I see some people "moaning" because of late cards or payments and often it is through their own fault, other times it  will be quickly resolved by visiting the UK telegram channel and speaking to one of the top Moderators (UK channel) Shout out to Crom and Demaril.

The Crypto.com cards still (and for a long time to come) remain as the best reward and cashback cards on the market.  Clearly, CDC (crypto dot com) are here to say, they would not have over 500 staff, the BEST DOMAIN NAME going, if they weren't serious.

The mobile app works fantastically, very easy to use once you have had a play around with it for 15mins. Seamlessly integrates with the Exchange and make buying and selling Bitcoin a walk in the park.

NOTE: Many MANY Banks in todays world are still Anti-Crypto, so 9 times out of 10, it is the bank to blame and not CDC which a lot of people are wrongly blaming them for.

There are ways around problematic banks, like i say, i recommend joining the telegram chat, not only are the Mods fantastic help but also many of the 2k+ members there.

Lastly...  THINK ABOUT THIS.

What two words will the new flood MILLIONS of new comers to Crypto type into Google?

Bitcoin and Crypto !     What URL are they likely to see at the top of search results ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD...

CRYPTO.COM

I have a bag and it would rival Santas!

You're Welcome.  Kiss

I agree with VB, I've nothing but good experiences with Crypto.com, so much so I've got a card for my wife, daughter, step-son and son-in-law. 3% cashback on all the groceries and a myriad of other things soon adds up and is very welcome and I've also been a subscriber of Spotify for years so now it's free for me via the card, it is saving me over £100 a year. I might even get to use the airport lounge access 1 day! Hopefully....

It is my goto app for buying Crypto as it is so easy and convenient and a lot of the cryptos you buy can be put straight into earn to get some interest on them at a competitive rate.

A great little tip is to load up the app with TGBP at pay day, put it into earn at 8% interest then top up the card from that when necessary whilst still earning good interest on the rest of the TGBP still in earn.

It has good staking rates - they have dropped recently but I'm still happy with them and it shows CDC is in it for the long term by assessing and protecting their profitability (yes, they are a business and need to make money to stay in the game).

For anybody starting out on their crypto journey, CDC is the perfect place to start and CRO is dirt cheap at the moment - I don't think it'll be at these prices for long!

Cheers

Be nice
Crypto.com has been a huge disappointment for me!

Not only did they take over 6 months in sending out a card after I verified, once sent out I asked where they sent it and they didn't know. They are incredibly unprofessional!

Their support is also incredibly bad. I have received at least 10 "I apologize" replies and 0 solutions when I had an issue with them, and I already had a few.

Example: I made a transfer to fund my account following the exact instructions in their app from a bank account of course verified and in my name that I have had for over 15 years. Even though I followed their exact instructions they sent me an email 48 hours later telling me that because of the transfer being from a "third party" they would refund it, eventually, not specified when. I complained and explained that this is not a "third party" this is my account and requested help in resolving it. They refused to help me with the matter ("I dont have the authority to help you more) and just replied "I apologize" and referred me to another support department.

I replied to an email from this other department and 72 hours later I had still not received a reply.

This means that even if I followed their exact instructions they froze my funds and "will refund" on an unknown occasion. I still have to see the refund... This is completely unacceptable. If their instructions are incorrect they need to change them and not make me suffer for their mistake.

I also get the feeling that their company lack professionalism and is very much like any really old scammy bank out there.

I would absolutely NOT recommend crypto.com

I watch closely crypto.com promos, updates but the team doesn't want to announce the eligible countries list. Except for Singapore and USA citizens, it is not possible to order the MCO Visa Card from the app.
Full decentralization is still a dream and it will not work under modern technological demand.
What do you mean? I think you are late to the party because even Europe and UK have cards now.
https://help.crypto.com/en/collections/260584-mco-visa-card
Surely you can order a card from the app if you are in one of the countries which are mentioned on their platform.
I agree only with your last comment which is in any way connected to your post. Using platforms like CDC does not have anything to do with decentralization. If you need it please look elsewhere.

Does anyone know about the MCO staking to get better interest rates??? It says if you have 500 or more MCO staked that you can get better interest but does that have to be when you stake for the card and not in the regular 'crypto earn' -- if that makes any sense??? When you stake for the card initially it seems that goes into a separate MCO pot which you have to lock up for six months and doesn't earn interest -- unless I'm mistaken. If you then staked 500 MCO in the crypto earn would this then quality you for the higher interest? I'm thinking it doesn't but locking 500 MCO for six months when you could have it in the regular crypto earn feature earning you interest every month doesn't seem worth it.

What have you bought? Cause paypal can easily charge you more on some fees
Do you have the paypal reciept for this transaction? Take a look on the details for what exaclty was you charged for

It looks like he's saying crypto.com charged him that not Paypal. If you pay through Paypal they usually show you the fees and what it costs before you click submit.

yeah, that's why I asked him to check with paypal, cause it's strange that he could be charged more than he had to be charged
there has to be a logic explanation

regarding the staking, can you be more precise please, what interests are you targeting at?

Whatever you say makes no sense. Its just buzz in the wind reflected in the anechoic silence of folly dullness of your life. I doubt not that users need not payment processors like this, not anymore. Decentralized swap platforms work all the magic with your funds, keeping up the pace with the evolution of decentralized governance through which the best standards of non-custodial tradition are obeyed.

In my opinion, this has nothing to do with decentralization. The main aspect of crypto is that my spendings are untraceable. With this card VISA always can provide data to someone, and why do I have to submit all my Personal data for this I already did it for my bank, and exchange which transfers money from bank to exchange and vice versa. I would rather wait that 6 hours from time to time then send my KYC to another company just for the sake of paying with crypto.
You can conveniently use the CDC Visa card by topping up fiat currency instead of crypto. This way you are using your own money and you get cashback that then you can save or re-use for spending.
You are not forced to use crypto coins to top up the card: to me this is very important actually because by spending my fiat currency I then get crypto.

It's interesting when when I make a payment in non base currency, I get an email that I have spent say 12.5 EUR, while the app shows 12.46. Which amount is the correct one?
It's the later one. Anyway the app has been throwing error 403 for at least 6 hours.

Have you seen the BS that crypto.com is getting rid of the MCO coin?

https://twitter.com/cryptocom/status/1290174946732175362

What sort of bs is that to just eradicate a coin out of nowhere. The only reason I signed up to crypto.com was to get the visa card so I could rack up some MCO because I saw the potential in it with it's fairly limited supply and the demand was there because you needed to buy it to get the cards so I could see the potential in it as crypto.com grew and people signed up for the card and their various rewards. Now they're forcing us to swap it for a coin that has billions in supply and is never going to be worth as much as MCO could have been.

Has this ever been done before? I guess this is the problem with centralized coins as they can just do whatever they want with them. I wonder if they'll be lawsuits over this as they're essentially just deleting an entire currency on their own whim.
That was bad to say the least.  Huh
