He is a graduate of Balliol College, Oxford, and an associate of Soros, so he is obviously a Deep State activist and supporter.  This means that any action or comment he makes will be designed to support the bankers, and may have little relationship with reality. It would not surprise me to hear that he, or one of his immediate family, is a Bitcoin HODLer.

cryptocurrency will not disappear. in fact, crypto will be increasingly sought after and used by many countries and many people. cryptocurrency will continue and will grow. even in my opinion all countries are starting to consider legalizing cryptocurrency and taking advantage of crypto.

you can't shut down something that is decentralized and make it disappear as long as people find it useful and continue using it. which is true about bitcoin. it is like saying torrent network will disappear but peer to peer connections will remain! you can't shut down torrent network since it consists of peers connecting to each other and sharing file. bitcoin is a much stronger implementation of a decentralized peer to peer network.

what will disappear is two things: 1. the altcoins without usage that keep being created even if they have the biggest market cap among altcoins 2. the government and bank issue tokens that are more centralized than anything else.

Agree, a lot is still using bitcoin and it's even increasing because of today's bitcoin price, they can attack bitcoin with whatever but I think it would be very difficult to make bitcoin or blockchain disappear like that. Blockchain has more uses that other systems so they can't shut it down.

Cryptocurrency will change, for sure. They will become regulated, probably change names or purposes. But never disappear. It's funny how people do not want to accept new technologies.

Approx 12 months ago I have bought a very good ebook on amazon.
In this ebook a dancer was telling his 15 years journey to earning 2.5 million dollars on the NYSE. It was a very good story and every page of this book was very good.
I have approx 10 years of trading experience with stocks and I learned many things in these 10 years. The very important thing
is that if you want something to appreciate in value, you have to praise it, you have to encourage it, you have to help it.

Crtyptocurrency will not dissapear. Cryptocurrency will survive and its value will appreciate.
Cryptocurrency will be the main currency of the humanity for the next 30 to 70 years to come.

Cryptocurrency will never dissapear as long as Internet will exist.

New projects with new coins will be developed over time and most probably many of existing ones will be replaced.  But crypto is here to stay.

Blockchain has answer for that.Until the last  crypto- currencies will remain.

Bitcoin has been declared dead 364 times already: https://99bitcoins.com/bitcoin-obituaries/

Whenever times in crypto get tough people have a tendency to panic and throw FUD around. If you think crypto has a future then it has a future, if you think it does not have a future then it does not. It is all a state of mind.

Personally i have confidence in the long term (2040 +) that cryptocurrency in some form will be around.

I won't believe this even if a tech giant like bill gate or Jeff Bezos has said this. CC is now decade old and it's market cap is around 200 billion USD. I advise not to follow such people as they have limited sight on CC.
I would never pay attention to such statements pustovalova.  Today, many structures and companies are beginning to use the blockchain, then the cryptocurrency begins to be implemented in various fields of activity.  Gambling and trading in online stores already use cryptocurrency and this is just the beginning.

Cryptocurrencies and blockchain is strictly related.
Without the blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies cannot survive. Thus, If he states that it is going to survive then that means that cryptocurrencies will continue to exist along with the blockchain technology. His point is not valid.

Its either you don't understand the whole idea of blockchain and cryptocurrency or you are just ignorant of the true purpose of blockchain and cryptocurrency. There is no way cryptocurrency will disappear. Cryptocurrency is the new revolution of money and its gradually changing and transforming the way people do transactions online.
Totally agree with your opinion. Cryptocurrency market is the future and to me, this is only the beginning of the virtual money. But definitely cryptocurrency ewon't disappear, it will be developing more and more

But I am worried that in the future there will be more development of centralized cryptocurrency and this is not the initial basis for crypto development. I know many large companies have adopted the blockchain as their new technology, like Facebook but they are more centralized while bitcoin is made decentralized as a sign of freedom.

Disappearing of cryptocurrency is possible but we cant tell when it is gonna happen. I think cryptocurrency would disappear not because of bitcoin losses its value, but the bunch of altcoins that are being created and several of them has just a dump price.

It is highly unlikely

At least for two reasons (there can be more). First, right now Bitcoin is pretty insignificant in the grand scheme of things (read, it is a minor pain in the government ass, if at all). But when (if) Bitcoin becomes a real thing (not that it is not in itself but in the government's eye), it will be too late to ban it (think gold here). And second and most important, major governments cannot agree on a lot more important things, so it is very doubtful they will all universally agree on banning Bitcoin. China (and probably Russia) would be happy but Uncle Sam (and his European minions) will never sign up just to spite Panda (and Bear)

I don't think that its gonna be happen that cryptocurrency will disappear! Much probably it will be known well and it will never be disappeared.how come that the government can do to intervene about crypto? first they can not do an corruption for crypto.because we all know it is decentralize and use transaction peer to peer.how come they will intervene crypto.its gonna be hard to do it.well about some countries banned the crypto? Like Bangladesh bitcoin is banned in this country my Idea for that it is because they can not control bitcoin.they can not steal crypto unlike fiat money government can manipulate what ever they want to do.
About asking crypto currency will disappear my answer is no it will not gonna be happen.in a new generation this will be known all over the world.using cryptocurrency is much better, secure or safe can't never be steal.and I believe government cant stop the people to use crypto for much easy way to use in our life by transaction.for those government official who are not corrupt open there mind for crypto because they can also use this..
Wait and see crypto will never be disappeared.

Have you believe this? It is just Rodger's speculations and ain't no basis for any possibilities that will turn into that way. He might say that way because he didn't appreciate it and he is one of those people who still nega with crypto.
I know a lot of people around same with Rodgers and I do believe that they are wrong of what they think against crypto.

Unless they do a full audit on each citizen labelling their fiat transaction to be crypto based or not. Governments certainly doesn't like local fiats getting exchanges to foreign assets that doesn't promote circulation, blockchain I will say it's still a very grey line where transparency where sometimes not intended for some cases and lack centralised controls. It believe crypto is here to stay, nobody can stop them owning bitcoins
