Those words or phrase are new, they may not available in english dictionaries. To understand those words or phrase, try to do research or ask other people. i have observed that terms like "cryptocurrency", "blockchain", and "alts" is not an english word because it is not included in the english dictionary though it is cliche in our cryptoworld, i think it is high time to include it in the dictionary for further acceptance of the public and increase its popularity do you agree?

Of course you can't find them on dictionary because its just a recent development in the field of technology (2009). But I mean, it wouldn't make any difference if its going to be added in the dictionary. We all have our own lingo here so to speak. Besides, everyone knows how to used the big G, and it would just be in their fingertips if they really wanted to understand all those crypto terms. If any dictionary added it, good, otherwise, it wouldn't affect the popularity of bitcoin by a bit.

these are new words belonging to new technologies. inclusion in a dictionary is not going to happen fast. and these words are the only new words out there. there are a lot of new words (not related to crypto at all) and are not in a dictionary.
and its inclusion in a dictionary is not going to change anything about their acceptance either.

if someone opens up Websters dictionary and sees the word bitcoin there, they won't suddenly decide they want to use bitcoin. also if they open it and see bitcoin is not there they won't suddenly decide not to use bitcoin!

bitcoin doesnt belong into a dictionary its a market product, do you see market products in a dictionary? no you dont so also no bitcoin, but cryptocurrency would fit

dont worry, those that write the dictionaries regular scan the public, and specialised languages, and update their dictionaries.
