Now, every corner of social media is flooded with information of bitcoin and altcoins .So almost everyone has seen a message about it or have come across a you-tube video about cryptocurrency .So yes it is the trending topic across all social media platforms indeed. 
In my opinion it is still not enough to be called trending topic in the world because now the year the cryptocurrency has dropped in price, I don't know the cause because it might just be because new people are investing in it and selling because they are afraid when the price of the cryptocurrency goes down.
cryptocurrency is always a subject that attracts many investors. At present, the volatility of the cryptocurrency market makes people anxious and makes a lot of remarks about Bitcoin and Altcoin at the end of 2018.

Crypto currency is of course trending today since there are lots of people like it and have benefited by it. There are lots whose life becomes lighter and in abundance. 
Crypto is only trending when the market is on the moon, that's what I feel when compared to the crypto market that is crashing. However, the news about crypto will certainly be interesting to discuss, because there are still many people who do not know about crypto even though we know that crypto growth around the world has developed well.

Having this kind of publicity from social media is a huge help for bitcoin tongain popularity, or somewhat for people to kmow what is bitcoin. On the other hand there are positive and negative news about it, with this we cannot surely believe that it is good for cryptocurrency. But then there are more and more people who starts talking crypto.
Although there are illegal things that using cryptocurrency but it will not stop for cryptocurrency to grows more than now. And in the next year, there will be many more people that will join into cryptocurrency. cryptocurrency itself has a big chance to be accepted in all country because cryptocurrency really helps people to earn more money.

This is not that the rise in the volume of crypto is the only reason that has made crypto the trending topic around the world. It is the adaptation of the cryptocurrencies by so many companies and corporate sectors that had done so. Besides, the wide spread ability of cryptocurrency in Europe and in US is thought of as a reason that has changes the traditional way of transaction in the economy.
Exactly very trending everywhere on social media, magazine, and internet, cryptocurrency is a talk about, the recognition cryptocurrency has created for herself cannot be compare with. But my concise is as popular as cryptocurrency is so many people is still not part of it! Why?
Maybe because they look the price of cryptocurrency is good for invest, they look if they invest in crypto they will have good profit, and maybe haters of bitcoin will support bitcoin if they look the development. And maybe government will interesting with crypto too.

yes I agree with you. because I think crytocurrency is an easy investment, but it's quite difficult to access by ordinary people or not.

But as it said that facebook and twitter banned ICO's paid advertisement but it's still a hot topic on these platforms and people are getting interested about it.
