Why are all of you surprised that Gates would say something like this? Most of Gates wealth and prosperity came from government contracts. That viewpoint supports the US government.

The most heinous murderer in the world is the US Government. They imprison more of their own citizens than any other country in the world, relegating their citizens to a torturous life at the hands of desperate people. They have drone striked women and children without a declaration of war. They are the only country in the world to have used a nuclear bomb on human beings (men, women and children noncombatants).

The USA wants all of your financial transactions transparent so they can more easily steal your money (that’s the financial crime the USA wants to control). Under the umbrella of “civil forfeiture,” officers of the law in the USA confiscate millions of dollars in cash from thousands of innocent individuals every year.

The US Government is the largest terrorist organization in the world (controlling over 3/4 of the world through financial handouts, food handouts, political manipulation, threats, drone strikes, law enforcement actions or direct military involvement).

The largest drug dealer in the world is the US big pharma industry that controls the FDA. Tens of thousands of people every year are addicted to painkillers legally prescribed in the USA.

The largest purchaser and user of guns and bombs in the world is the USA. I’d say, the US Government is a terrorist that kills people 'in a fairly direct way'. 

Bitcoin is just leveling the playing field and it’s pissing off the biggest bully on the block.

In own point of view, If Bill Gates is correct so Government should regulate this digital currency so they can trace and review transactions that may use in buying drugs or equipment to destroy the lives of the people.

That is his own point of view, everything have both negative and positive side, and it depeind on how you place your own view about crypto currency, so i don't think it kills

The things Bill Gates says are absolutely true. Maybe you are a newbie so do not understand the crypto market yet. Bitcoin is currently being abused a lot. The majority of terrorists use bitcoin more than business people. This has caused many countries to stop the bitcoin because of the danger that bitcoin has caused. I hope the crypto market will continue to grow strongly in the future and not suffer any punishment from the world government.

For me, it might be depend on how the people used this cryptocurrencies. It could be possibly yes if one  could gonna be used it in bad ways and it might be not killed people if they would be used it in the right ways or in other words it relies on the hand of the people.

He might have a good point on that but why don't we see this in a brighter side, I can see that cryptocurrency also has a great advantage like helping people to step out of the poverty and etc. Even before crypto takes over the market, killing is getting worse so I cannot see that this will might cause that to happen just like what Bill Gates said. I don't want to say anything against Bill Gates, but isn't it because he cannot accept the fact that people nowadays are able to earn in a fastest and less hassle way unlike them who created money by sweat and blood? Well, it is what we called the power of technology.

This are classic most stupid facts about disadvantages of cryptocurrencies. Really sad to hear this from such person.

I'm surprised that one of the richest people in the world thinks this way (if it really is).
But it pleases that most users have their own point of view and correctly state that the problem is far from being a crypto currency, and terrorism, crime and money laundering exist and will exist.

Cryptocurrency is not a lethal weapon and it can not kill people. You choose what you do with your life not bitcoin does it for you

This opinion is nonsense. The FIAT is used most popular to do bad thing all around the world.

Stress is when one finds a thing as a trouble. Trouble is there when one does not understand how things work. Perhaps people only need to be aware of what cryptocurrencies are, what it means and how it works. Knowledge is all we need to revitalize that dying viewpoint. So before you get eaten up by that so called 'stress', park it up and learn more of what all these things are all about.

Every technology that have been invented have the potential to kill people same also to give life. People travelling have accident then got injured while an ambulance is used to convey them to the hospital with which without the timely intervention a lot of lives would have been lost which then says mean that the same vehicle that led to some peoples death also led to sustaining the lives of other. Its true that those things he talked about are actually happening which no doubt people have been 'killed'.

However, we should also no be unmindful of the several people across the world that have been liberated because of this, the people who have been able to improve their standard of living that Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation can never reach no matter the percentage of their wealth they donated. The millions of start-ups that have been brought to life as a result of crypto funding or the myriad of freelancers that have been able to attract clients across the world because of crypto. Its on perception and I choose the life part.

yes you are right, it is not entirely a bitcoin error but also the bitcoin user itself.
bitcoin is just a tool, one example kitchen knife. even a kitchen knife can be used to kill the person depending on who uses the knife that's, depending on the person using it

To consider how silly this line of argument is, consider that dihydrogen monoxide is the cause of death for thousands of people every year via accidental overdoses. Most of the deaths from it occur from using it in its liquid form, but in its solid form it causes chemical burns, and people die from contact with it in its gaseous form every year as well. Despite this it remains largely unregulated, people use the stuff every day and even let their kids play with it. Clearly we should ban... water.

I do not think so, Cryto is only a tool to pay, if you buy bombs, guns ... etc. You have to transport them, you will be caught by police on the way. You can not blame the crypto market for killing people.

First time I'm hearing that, and normally Bill Gates favors crypto, so maybe that's out of context, or the source is not valid. Anyway, it doesn't really matter because fiat is still by far the most used system to support terrorists, so no point in blaming bitcoin for that. Even the FBI has already reported several times, that the bitcoin txs used for criminal actions is minimal, compared to fiat, or even other cryptos that are more private than BTC.
