when cryptocurrency is taught in schools and cryptocurrency technology is widely used in several other schools and institutes, it has become a development of the cryptocurrency world and certainly can trigger the rise of cryptocurrency prices because there will certainly be many who use and search for cryptocurrency such as bitcoin.
and now actually the technology of blockchain has been experimented with a lot and some have even set it as a learning. but there aren't many but this is a very good thing

Yes the time will come in future because the digital currency is booming. A lot of people already use this currency. Hopefully in future it will the main transaction system. So the basic learning should start from school.
I think its a yes that cryptocurrency must br taught in schools ot havr a subject about cryptocurrency because crypto blooms very quick and it will helps our economy to grow. So I think students must know what crypto is all about.
Absolutely agree! We surely don't want our children to be ignorant about all these when they grow up and the technology of cryptos has already bloomed. Unfortunately, those in the position to have it incorporated in school, don't see it that way. Just saddening.

I for one think that havint cryptocurrency as part of an educational system is a good gateway for future aspirants to develop their very own cryptocurrency and invent the next big thing after bitcoins. I have to agree on this because cryptocurrency education is very important.
Oh yes, that is a great idea too. Who knows if some of those children we have today are the same people who can innovate the cyptocurrency system in the future. Most of their parents don't know cryptos for sure but if it would be taught in school, they can even educate their own parents, right?

I think it is a useful thing to be teached in school too! I see it is very effective, because it targets real life apps and daily usage.. An example is the upcoming ARROUND project. This is practical because it aims to combine the augmented reality industry with blockchain. So as we may already now, there are many tuts about augmented reality, but with blockchain this will be more powerful! So, yea, crypto/blockchain is good to be teached..
Exactly! Time will come that everything that we will do will go thru a blockchain and not just cryptocurrencies. We definitely don't want the next generation to become shocked of how technology will be shocked in the next few decades so the earlier that they are taught about it, the better.
For me teaching about cryptocurrency in school is good idea because the new generation are more aggressive to know what's around them, so if they have knowledge in cryptocurrency they will become more exposed in technology which right now the world is gradually rise based in technology. In time will come If the crypto taught in School it will help us to know it better and understand it more, so that the chance of getting a scam will be lessen and those young people will be independent because surely they will involve to it and help them financially.

Would be great, in my country children learn so many nonsense things, and just a few things, which is really useful in real life. But cryptocurrencies will surely not be part of the school schedule any time soon, I don't think the Ministry of Education even heard about it Cheesy Anyways, there are some privat, educational purpose sites in my native language as well.
Oh yes that's right. Children know more about gadgets than anything more important in life including cryptocurrencies and I agree with you that it won't be part of the education system anytime soon. There are just too many implications but it will be great if it will be, right?

Yes, you are right, with the development of technology, you need to introduce basic training in the school curriculum!
Yes absolutely! Thank you! It is better to prepare the younger people now about cryptocurrencies before its technology sky rocket in the future so that they won't get shocked when it happens. The basics and familiarity is a good start already.

To my mind in order to include the crypto currency course for teaching in schools it must be included into the governmental programm. Because all the programms are adopted by the Board of Education. So first the crypto currency must be accepted by the government as well. But to my mind some day it will happen, and may be our children will learn the crypto currency like any separate discipline. But not nowadays. Too many factors influence on this process.
That's right friend. Due to the fact the it is not widely accepted yet in the current time, it is hard to convince the government and the authorities in the education system to have it incorporated in lessons of the students. I just hope that it will be soon so that the younger people will be ready for the future technology in the financial system.

I think, at a time when crypto is popular and accepted globally, it is natural for electronic money and schools. But now it is interesting to get students familiar with the forecasts of the risks and opportunities of crypto.
Yes I think so too. When the world could no longer avoid cryptocurrencies because it will already be a part of the financial system, that's when they will cram to incorporate that in school.
On your point, yes that's all I'm asking for for now. Familiarity for the students and the rest can follow eventually.

Teaching crypto in school is not the next thing for crypto now,we don't have to teach crypto in school before we help the development. There are so many thing that must be in place before we can be talking about taking crpto currency to school. It must be acceptable generally and have the backing of government and individuals.
I agree, there is still so much developments that need to be done with the cryptocurrrency system but isn't making people aware part of its developments? And should we not prepare the youth of today to what the future of cryptos  might be? But you are right, it has to be generally accepted before the authorities consider adding it in the education system.

Crypto is a relatively new technology that's why it is given less attention than traditional disciplines like the above mentioned banking.
I would suggest giving the basics of blockchain and cryptocurrencies within the scope of computer literacy course, and if there are students highly interested in it make the advanced crypto-related course.

Well my friend, bitcoin has been around since 2009 therefore it's not really that new and technology in the more advanced society progresses in a much faster rate as based on the Law of Accelerating Returns. Unfortunately, it does not seem to be the case for cryptocurrencies and I really don't know why.
But we need to be ready as technology will accelerate even more as the years go by and we are not. Humans are so used to short term plans and quick fix.

Many governments are still in a stalemate in reference to the acceptance of crypto currencies and since governments are the most powerful moderators of the educational systems, why would they initiate or introduce crypto currency into the syllabus? Had governments accepted the use of cryptos, then it would have been easy to get a crypto related subject or course in high schools and colleges. But I do agree that it would have been good for the crypto community.
I agree with you mate although I can imagine politics coming in should government accepts cryptos but yes, since they don't accept it, it would be hard to incorporate it in the education system. Of course, kudos to those countries that are now accepting it which of course. it follows that  some of them are already introducing cryptos in school as I gathered from the comments here.

JOIN THE NEXT MEGATREND IN CRYPTO!
October 25, 2018, 07:18:01 AM
Hi guys!
I'm pretty sure that many of you have been experiencing difficulty on making other people aware of cryptocurrency and how it works, right? I myself find it hard to explain it even to my own family. Once you mention it to them, the first thing that comes to their mind is that it's a scam. Can't blame them though because the news about crypto scams are always hyped in social media and believe me, even my 70 year old mom has Facebook!

Anyway, I realized that this is the case because there has never really been any formal education about it at all. We knew about it only thru word of the mouth right and we only got to learn it slowly thru experience. This said, I'm thinking, what if it's taught in schools? Perhaps just start with those taking Accountancy or Banking and Finance courses to begin with, then eventually incorporate it to Mathematics subject or whatever in High School? After all, they were able to do that with banking, right? Why not with cryptocurrency? What do you think?

In itself, it will become commonplace, but not now, and I think everyone will study in schools and other institutions. Only now I would not want to tell everyone, not everyone is ready, and a lot of negativity. Yes, and they do not need to know.

well this is very good if crypto currency becomes a subject in school because it will be very beneficial for students to learn how to get income from cyberspace, of course in digital currency. and the development of crypto currencies will certainly run smoothly

This would be a good idea. There is big possibility that cryptocurrency will play a big part in the future. Thus, teaching it to the students, the next generation might be a great step for the future. This would open them in wide possibility in the crypto world.

There are a lot of people who have been earning money on the Internet for decades, not just crypto. As advertising, ref link, PTC, PTU, ... so all need to open class for students? I think that's not really necessary
