From todays view, there is no way for crypto to kill cash since most countries aren't accept it as currency. And I think it will be the same in the future because of the fluctuation that crypto has is too high.
Cryptocurrency don’t kill cash. They will stay a new type of cash. Can you say that Hobo habilis kill homo erectus? No. It’s evolution, no more.

Although cryptocurrency has a very sophisticated technology but I am sure that cryptocurrency will not kill the fiat currency. Because all the people in the world still desperately need fiat money in their daily lives and every country will definitely defend its currency to non-existant. It's not easy to kill cash because still many people don't know and understand cryptocurrency and they will keep using Cash.

More likely, you'll have the two systems working in the same time. Then, who know, somewhere in the futur, when everyone will have a mobile (or a chip under the skin...) then there won't be need of cash anymore.
I don't seems to believe with that fact of cryptocurrency killing the fiat cash, the truth and fact is that after making the whole coins and turning them into profit, you still need to convert it to fiat to be able to spend it probably so you see it won't kill cash, they will make each other stronger
