Just saw one of the biggest single bets I've seen in a long time;

19.74 ETH wagered to win 39.48 ETH—that's around $7,500 from a roulette bet!

Congrats Wyth836, you've got some big balls and it paid off.

Looks like a lot of high rollers are wagering with Ethereum these days.

I guess they're not happy with Ethereum's measly 40% gain since 2020 began  Grin

Nope, these guys are after the big wins. 100% in 1 bet > 40% in almost 5 months.

Keep it up guys!

Because he was placing flat bets.

Well, if that was the case, then he did win 23 times in a row with 33.066% win chance. Or, otherwise we would see some lost bets in the pictures above, right? You see, that's why I've been writing about it so much: 23 wins in a row with 33.066% win chance seems highly unlikely.

No, because the betsize itself is not qualified to show on high rolls, it's shown there because of the high profit. So if he places 50 of these bets, only the winning ones will pop up.

Oh, thank you very much for this explanation!

Now all the pieces of the puzzle are starting to fall into right places. Smiley

So, the size of the bet or the win amount must be higher than 0.02 BTC to appear in the HIGH ROLLS. Do I understand it correctly this time?

Correct.

So I finally understood today that high rolls are actually based on the loss/win amount, not the size of the bet placed! That does explain why I didn't get in on some value losses that had otherwise entered earlier when I won at higher multiplier.

Hope you understand after reading this:

On High Rolls section (this is where the discussion really is about) 1. we show big profits regardless the bet size and 2. we show bets from a certain amount or above, regardless the outcome.

Such a diverse high roller leaderboard today  Wink

tmills is absolutely killing it on the 2x multiplier, there isn't even anybody else on the board!

It's even x3 multiplier, only profit is showing on the right. Meanwhile he wagered 236 BTC with an estimated reward of 0.473 BTC on Wagering Contest. He might be the first player this year to reach max reward of 1.5 BTC if he continues like this. =P
