The probability of a dice jackpot does not change, what does change is that all aspects of the jackpot are provably fair now.
In the previous implementation with BetIDs you had no way to account for the way your betID was allocated. While the site gives them out based on the order bets are submitted to the server, that's not easily verified.
In this implementation, all requirements of the jackpot can be determined based on the server and client seed. This way you can 100% verify that your chances of hitting the jackpot are as advertised.

So, in short: It makes the jackpot more transparent, it doesn't change how likely it is.

As a jackpot hunter, I was excited at first that the requirements were loosened,ad that now we have more chances of hitting it. But then I realized that it's not that simple.

Can you please explain, compared to previous requirements, do we have more chances, or less, or is the probability of hitting the Jackpot remains the same?

We have changed some requirements to hit dice jackpot: requirement for BetID is removed and we have added jackpot number to make it more random.
These are current requirements and a short explanation how to calculate jackpot number:

• Your dice result is either 7.777 or 77.777
• Your dice bet is a winning roll
• Your bet amount and profit both are at least 0.000001 BTC, 0.001 DASH, 100 DOGE, 0.001 ETH, 0.0001 XMR, 0.00001 BCH, 0.001 LTC, 0.1 STRAT, 0.01 GAS, 0.001 ETC or 1000 PlayMoney
• The last two digits of your Server seed + client seed combined and encrypted in SHA512 are 77 (called the jackpot number and can be found on your BetID)
  • For the Jackpot number, the calculation goes as following:
    It's basically done the same way bet results are calculated, but in this case take the two characters at the end of the SHA512-hash.
    So first you need the SHA512-hash, this is your Server seed and Client seed combined and encrypted in SHA512.
    As the next step, take the last two characters of your SHA512 hash and convert them from Hexadecimal to Decimal.
    If this number has 3 digits and is less than 200, use modulo 100 to get a number between 0-99.
    If the generated Decimal value is 200 or higher, repeat the last step with the next 2 characters of your SHA512-hash from right to left.
    Continue until a number between 0-99 is generated.

He has lost a bit more since yesterday, but still in very good profit, 8.5 BTC.
Same as you, I like it when someone wins big, so I'm very glad for him.

What I failed to consider is that he actually could withdraw most of his winnings, and play only with 10% of it now. That's what I would do, had I been in his place. And, maybe, he did just that, and maybe that's why his Total profit has not been jumping back and forth big time since recently.

Only 3 days left for this month's wagering contest, ILoveLTC has moved up to #1 on BTC ranking: Wagered: 106.24 BTC, Estimated reward: 0.212 BTC.

Also another dice jackpot was hit yesterday, which was the 5th hit this month (4 from the same player: gasoline).

What's loss if he's still at almost 9 BTC profit.. It only means that he continued playing with some of his profit. And who knows, he might gain all back if he continues, like he recovered some drops a couple of times with big hits (yeah, I've been following his gameplay). This is an amazing profit! I'm really happy for ILoveLTC. I personally know no one who can make such money during a month, let alone one week.

@joksim299, yes he could be in negatives, as HR doesn't show all bets, but in this case we can confirm that user has a nice profit around 7 BTC. 

I'm confused. Both wins and losses are displayed on the LB, but losses are only displayed for high-roller amount? Shouldn't all amounts be displayed regardless of outcome?

Or am I missing something here?
