Maybe you are right, but I think that it's possible that they are just high rollers who would wager those amounts anyway, even if there weren't any wagering contest. I'm no high roller myself, so I know that I will never finish in the top 10. If there were 100 paid places, I would try my luck there though.
Don't know why I'm so lucky with Slots on Crypto-Games recently.

My Monero withdrawal is pending for over 14 hours.
When I requested it and confirmed by email, status was:"Support confirmation required"
So, I wrote a support ticket.
A few hours later I have received a reply:"Withdrawal was processed. Regards"
But, it's not processed. Status was changed from "Support confirmation required" to "Pending".
And when I tried to send message on chat, I got error:"* Your account is temporarily blocked."
Sorry for delay, but withdrawal is now processed. When I requested it and confirmed by email, status was:"Support confirmation required"

Signing up was quick and easy, everything looks nice and clean and runs very smoothly. I am so glad it is not another "spammy" looking casino site - its obvious they cared a lot about UI and their traffic figures speak for themselves.
They wont last for this long if they we'rent a good gambling site.
