It's better to take down their business rather than refunding the loss from the users lol, what a tactic. But, I heard that they were refunding the fund from the users.

I believe they will be paying those equity investors first because they have legal obligation to them.  Probably they will sell their users assets to BTC and reimburse these users on what is left after all the legal obligation to their equity investors are paid.  Really a sad day for small traders.

So you think guys all the shitcoins left in Cryptopia are gone forever?  Huh https://twitter.com/Cryptopia_NZ/status/1128491715608727553
Ever since they experienced the hack recently on their exchange, they have not been able to recover from it even though they had to bring out a withdrawal model, I don't really know why all this exchanges never learn from what have happened to other exchanges and always fall victim to hacks, they know that hackers are head bent on making sure that they lose all users fund, but yet they don't still take the security of their platform seriously, I can't imagine that a big exchange like binance can also be hacked but we can see it happen already, how can we now trust exchanges anymore.

Their website only says they are doing maintenance, they must be back anytime soon. They are not closing but just doing something else, maybe they are up to something after all there is a bullrun coming, it would be a big mistake to close it while there are profits to earn.

I thought that Cryptopia is dead for about 3 months after a hack, why the h*ll you continued using this exchange? There is no reason for that!

It depends on the exchange itself. Looks like there is no news in this regard. Already this kind of small exchanges most time do not give back money, it can be made by major exchanges easily.
I didn't know small exchange doesn't give their traders money back, but for major exchanges sure they might give the money back but im pretty sure they will give the traders a hard time getting their money back.

I think that this is so, but I really do not want to believe in it because I had a lot of tokens that were stolen from this exchange
It seems they will gone this is the saddest part when someone has the problem in cryptopia that’s cannot make a withdrawal of their token on this exchange. So let us be careful and do not fully have the trust on a certain exchange because of the scam issue.

Likely everyone who stored their cryptocurrencies will lose their coin if it is shitcoin or bitcoins everyone will use that is why we need to have that under our control not in under control of someone.

The main is the trader can't widraw their funds and suddenly cryptopia doesn't have any funds to refund all the needed money of all the users that got hack after all tradera are still waiting on the news if they can get their funds or not it was still lock for widrawal.

It depends on the exchange itself. Looks like there is no news in this regard. Already this kind of small exchanges most time do not give back money, it can be made by major exchanges easily.
Agree with this small exchange can't give a money back return once they hack and it was a capability of user to kept their funds.

Very bad news and an ugly timing for all traders and investors using cryptopia as its means of exchange. I think this exchange stole from themselves just to have a reason to exit.
There's a big possibilities that they did that in order to make a reason for exiting this market, seeing that there's a lots of competition behind and the popularities already been gone long time ago, there's no clear evidence but only speculations, those shit coins will be gone from the circulations.

An unexpected turn, it is a pity of course, many believed that everything will be fine, as it turns out hacked apparently significantly that it is necessary to liquidate the exchange. But still I will say that I liked the exchange, very convenient and the volumes were.

While talking about the cryptopia exchange, this a very good exchange in terms of deposit and the withdrawals. But, the security of this exchange is like keep your goods out side of home. Very worst security that I have ever seen. I already lossed my coin here which was worth of $4000 then. I also contacted them but they don't listen to me and point to me that it is my fault. So, now I shut down my account from Cryptopia.

If you mean the hacked coins and tokens, they were gone since the beginning since there is no way to take them back from the hackers wallets. This is why users can't withdraw those coins and tokens, even if they still have them in their balances, since there are no real coins to withdraw from the exchange.
Have you watched that news properly? there was a lot of people are still having their amounts in cryptopia and that's why they are all complaining about they can't withdraw their coin. Not all of coins were being affected caused by the cryptopia hack but most of users are not able to withdraw their money. Pleas, understand the case before you wanna say anything about that.

If you pay attention at what I wrote you will realize I'm strictly talking about the coins and tokens that were hacked, not the others. I know not all coins were affected, and there is no reason for not letting users withdraw those unaffected coins. Happy now?
