I have been getting repeated reports from users that Cryptsy is blaming the IFC network for their withdraw delays.

THIS IS FALSE AND A PURPOSEFUL LIE ON THE PART OF CRYPTSY TO DEFLECT RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR OWN SYSTEMS FAILURES.

Is this really what you are reduced to? Deceiving and blaming your user base for your own internal problems? This is grade school type behavior, not the actions of some one with whom you would trust your money. The IFC network is functioning fully with transactions flowing...

I canceled an order a few hours ago. When I logged in again I had twice the amount of BTC as before! I didn't want to steal anyone else's money because there had obviously been a mistake so I pressed the audit button and ALL my Bitcoins disappeared. Strangest website ever.. Luckily I only kept minimal amounts on there so it's not that big of a deal if they go missing but it sure would suck if I had stored more there. Would recommend everyone to withdraw everything until it's resolved.

In the last two weeks or so I have had nothing but problems with Cryptsy.   Trades disappearing.   Balances on cancelled trades disappearing.   Slow trades.  Slow withdrawals.   And on an on and on...   I have opened a couple of tickets a day or more...  The audit button is a joke.   Does not work.   I have gone from a very satisfied customer to ready to jump ship.  I am not happy at all.

Something definitely wrong with the trade engine, I noticed this has been floating for more than 10 minutes in the LTC market. Look at the Sell vs Buy.

Yes Sad i see this all of the time on the LTC and QRK markets.

If they add Doge like it looks like they will, expect extra problems, the volume will be large there too it would seem. It seems big vern coded the entire site, which is quite amazing and beyond what most people can do, however i suspect that they need a super coder to sort this engine out.

Hi,

I've like to share my experience with Cryptsy platform. Let's just say that the authenticator is rarely needed even though you set it to re validate every time you log in. I'm concerned with authenticator because someone had already hacked into my account and stolen 13.78 bitcoins and although I bought it to one of the support's attention, he just merely dismiss my claim by simply stating that "we do not get hacked". OH REALLY? WHAT MAKE YOU SO SPECIAL THAT HACKERS WONT WANT TO BOTHER WITH THIS PLATFORM?

I think the authenticator is just a way to build false security for the users (that's why it is not required all the time) and the real security is very vulnerable to hack. I'll even go as far to suggest that it is intended to be this way to give hackers a platform that's relatively easier to hack.

Speaking from experience (u wont lie about having 13 bitcoins stolen and if you do, that's is probably true)

I have done around 1000 trades over 5 months or so at cryptsy without having to even use their support even once.  Sure there was the occasional slow deposit etc.

The growth in trade that has occurred over the last couple of weeks that couldn't be predicted and the sheer number of different coins that are on there compared to the other sites will of course cause some issues but I am confident they will sort it out.

not to be rude but in few years of playing with bitcoin sites today I encoutered crypsty
by god...

on the plus side my funds weren't stolen but it was a mission to get them in and out, had to reward myself with a cigarette and can of strong lager after that ordeal

not sure if that's the usual experience, if not hope you can fix the site up

With the alt coin boom they've gained 6 months worth of new users in a couple of days, I'm honestly amazed they've been able to keep things running as much as they have. There's additional servers on the way and hopefully things will be back to normal soon.

At this rate, Ciphertrade is going to crush them next month and amateur hour will be over.

With only six sad coins trading? I don't think so.

The six coins are for the Dec beta test.  More may be added in Jan.

Right now, that's six more coins than you can trade on sad, broken Cryptsy.
