Back up now.

Vern is doing some maintenance. I don't know for how much longer this will be ongoing, but it is for the best.

Cryptsy is getting new server hardware, and some exciting updates/new features. As I'm sure a lot of you have heard.

Ever notice how it's always the people that miss out on their $1.97 increase in networth that scream the loudest...

If you are unhappy with Cryptsy just take your business over to BTC-e or mcxNOW LOL...

Jeez, they're UPGRADING services, give them a break.

So far today, when I cancel a buy order (had a few that had been sitting around a while) I am never recredited the BTC that was held for the order in question. It's been a couple hours now and nothing has come through -- missed out on some trade opportunities because of the delay.

This entire site is a disaster -- the lag is insane right now because of all of the idiots making these microtrades. Cryptsy needs to set some minimums on the sell orders...or start charging 0.001 BTC per trade or something. I mean there are sell orders going out for less than 1 cent worth of altcoins -- can't continue like this.

I think a minimum sell order should be for 0.025 BTC. Charging more for trades will make the market slightly more difficult (and less profitable) to manipulate and we won't have to deal with as many crap pump-and-dumps/etc.

Imagine if E*TRADE worked like this -- unlimited real-time orders for a 0.30% Fee -- how ridiculous. That doesn't encourage volume at all -- I want a higher fee (or at least a higher base fee) that doesn't have to be tied solely to a percentage.

Between this and Coins-E I'd be pretty scared to invest any amount of money that I cared about into this market. I've been screwed by both exchanges in one day...and Cryptsy's performance is absurd. How did they not realize this would become an issue?

And the bot auction ends in 60mins, should be an interesting 2 weeks, that sounds like I am being negative, I am not, it's actually really quite exciting.

try login to cryptsy and use the chat box, or send a support ticket or ctrl+f5 the page or just wait and see.

I was getting just a gray background and no text... I think it was because I was logged in? I had close/open my browser and that worked.

Hopefully that will help anyone experiencing the same symptom.
