I mean if the owner pretty much fled the country - it shows how most bitcoin ventures turn out by now.

I wont be surprised if any of the other alt exchanges will have a similar trait on fleeing since crytpsy as well know by far.

I think that is the only explanation that almost the whole family (igotspots, defaced, muddafuddah, r3wt etcetc) can be found in this thread. But I don't feel sorry for them..probably lots of their worthless premined coins and partly swapped bitcoins are stuck at cryptsy now. It is a big loss for them, but they have found other exchanges for prolongation of their copy work.

From the looks of https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.6767469, an exit strategy was already in place.

Team Cryptsy didn't a give a shit about their family and friends, so don't be surprised when you learnt that they don't give a shit about their customer base losing millions. It was fuck you, they're getting theirs from the get-go. Even Leroy Fodor's 3-year-old son figured it out when he was only one upon conducting his first Google search.

It was one scamming network of
1. Copy coin cloners (Mullick, igotspots, defaced, shakezulu, muddafuddah, 3rwt, (also JohnJoule (XJO), Max Guevarra (Quark), Giskard (Zetacoin), 8bitcoder (myriad), Willow Rosenberg (UNO) etcetc for each coin he cloned he had another name at bitcointalk).

2. Scammers/FUDers for example:

- Spoetnik
- Forlackofabettername and all his alterego's: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.10667896 heavily involved in scamming UNO and other coins created by him like XJO and Quark and spread FUD about Aurora

and 3. Cryptsy employees like BitJohn, Mullick and BigVern.

Starring in the thread: JohnEden (anounced BottleCaps and is aka BitJohn from cryptsy), BitJohn himself (listing the coin at cryptsy), shakazulu (the creator of BottleCaps), digitalindustry (the Fudder and scammer in one in the thread with multiple names), Mullick (as the new coin developer, taking it over from shakazulu).

In my opinion the copy coin cloners and scammers are equally responsible for the loss of the bitcoins as the cryptsy employees, and must contribute to the compensation of people who lost their altcoins at cryptsy.

Is the altcoin world better now cryptsy is gone? hm...I don't think so lol. The copy coin cloners are also active at other exchanges. Some moved a long time ago...it is just very lucrative to be a copy coin cloner/scammer and pump/dump altcoins at exchanges....(a recent example I followed was Expanse...pumped in a few hours (1000%), a copy of Ethereum and cloned by...defaced )

We must be aware that behind these people; Vernon, Horus alias JohnMcPherson,Bit John there is a monstrous organization that surpasses any imagination.
Because what I do not understand why so many wallets have stopped the syncs almost simultaneously with the birth of Cryptsy problems.
Then comes a spontaneous question, is not that the brains of Cryptsy have created their own coins (including those who are now dead)?

Is anybody taking any action against these scammers? This is so harsh
