With nary a thank you to at least two bitcoiners conducting independent investigations uncovering additional reductions of funds from Cryptsy extending the event a few hours earlier than Paul Vernon alluded to above, Paul announced three days later via a blog update on a Sunday evening that five more of Cryptsy bitcoin wallet addresses had been found where reductions occurred, alluding to having just found them, otherwise no way in hell Paul Vernon would've penned As you can see,  2014-07-29 13:17:36 is when the event occurred. (echoing the above).


Paul Vernon would've simply included mentions of those five 100 BTC reductions at the onset of the GREAT REVEAL, only waiting till later to fulfill his promise of detailing the altcoin reductions that were part of the event:

"About a year and a half ago, we were alerted in the early AM of a reduction in our safe/cold wallet balances of Bitcoin and Litecoin, as well as a couple other smaller cryptocurrencies."

Bear in mind that Paul expands on the date and time 2014-07-29 13:17:36 when the event occurred with, "A very interesting fact here, however, is that those Bitcoins have not moved once since this happened.", further cementing the notion that that's ALL the bitcoins reduced, along with Paul's preface:

But, I contend that Paul Vernon DID KNOW about those five earlier 100 BTC reductions when he penned his original blog post entitled Announcement on January 14, 2014.


Picture, if you will, Paul Vernon in his office on Tuesday morning, July 29, 2014, after the five 100 BTC were already reduced but prior to the main event. Mullich is in his office as well, along with Bryant Ibana and at least a dozen others, given that Cryptsy's staff circa this date consisted of ~40 employees by all accounts, granted a many of them worked aboard mostly from their homes.
