what is the point in putting all this transactions and screenshots?  no offense just wondering , i have myself lost some btc due to this but what is the intention?  i pretty much consider the little i had there lost for ever

To be honest, there's really no point at all. I'm just an old coot with nothing better to do with my life so I opted to exercise the hobby of seeking meaningless shit off the Internet and post such to increase my post count. If I'm lucky, Leroy Fodor will come along and quote this particular post to add cred to his StakeMiners Ponzi in furthering depicting me a useless fuck out to scam the community and extort venerable cryptocoiners like himself to make me stop my ridiculous onslaught.

That, and I aspire to be a creative writer some day like Leroy Fodor, foregoing attending Ohio University in Athens, OH, like he did where he earned his B.B.A.

You definitely get cred for using venerable in a post!

From the desk of Serial Lyin' Hashers United:

Here are the transaction details from the Bitcoin wallet:

https://www.walletexplorer.com/wallet/0c07e0bec1002bd2

As you can see,  2014-07-29 13:17:36 is when the event occurred.   A very interesting fact here, however, is that those Bitcoins have not moved once since this happened.

With nary a thank you to at least two bitcoiners conducting independent investigations uncovering additional reductions of funds from Cryptsy extending the event a few hours earlier than Paul Vernon alluded to above, Paul announced three days later via a blog update on a Sunday evening that five more of Cryptsy bitcoin wallet addresses had been found where reductions occurred, alluding to having just found them, otherwise no way in hell Paul Vernon would've penned As you can see,  2014-07-29 13:17:36 is when the event occurred. (echoing the above).

Quote

Paul Vernon would've simply included mentions of those five 100 BTC reductions at the onset of the GREAT REVEAL, only waiting till later to fulfill his promise of detailing the altcoin reductions that were part of the event:

"About a year and a half ago, we were alerted in the early AM of a reduction in our safe/cold wallet balances of Bitcoin and Litecoin, as well as a couple other smaller cryptocurrencies."

Bear in mind that Paul expands on the date and time 2014-07-29 13:17:36 when the event occurred with, "A very interesting fact here, however, is that those Bitcoins have not moved once since this happened.", further cementing the notion that that's ALL the bitcoins reduced, along with Paul's preface:

"Here are the transaction details from the Bitcoin wallet: https://www.walletexplorer.com/wallet/0c07e0bec1002bd2", with info on the altcoin reductions forthcoming, so please stay tuned.

But, I contend that Paul Vernon DID KNOW about those five earlier 100 BTC reductions when he penned his original blog post entitled Announcement on January 14, 2014.

Picture, if you will, Paul Vernon in his office on Tuesday morning, July 29, 2014, after the five 100 BTC were already reduced but prior to the main event. Mullich is in his office as well, along with Bryant Ibana and at least a dozen others, given that Cryptsy's staff circa this date consisted of ~40 employees by all accounts, granted a many of them worked aboard mostly from their homes.

In the same block as where Cryptsy's main event's reduction of bitcoin rest Comfortable Numb - 313009 - are two other Cryptsy transactions that HAD TO BE transacted by a human (or sub-human, as the case may be by all accounts - looking at Paul Vernon) given that's the ONLY way such could occur since at the time there were ZERO conformations, evidence of such, again, because a new block had yet to be created for the network to confirm Position 1087 of Block 313009 for Position 1088 (very next position) of the same block 313009- https://blockchain.info/block-height/313009.

How does one of the top ten richest man in Kangaroolia not have any work history on Linkedin page prior to investing in Bitcoin? https://www.linkedin.com/in/zhenyatsvetnenko

How does Zhenya Tsvetnenko not look at Cryptsy's audits prior to entering into a mega-million-dollar business deal with them? http://www.asx.com.au/asxpdf/20140917/pdf/42s89c4j1j9vj2.pdf Further, was it the left or right cheek of Paul Vernon's ass where he pulled a quarter of a million dollars out of to commence the deal on September 17, 2014, not even two months after the event and about a month prior to them damning articles coming out causing a bank run damping Paul's plans of how Cryptsy was goin' to become solvent once again, replacing the reduced funds via deceasing his spending habits?

Quote
This of course was a critical event for Cryptsy, however at the time the website was earning more than it was spending and we still have some reserves of those cryptocurrencies on hand.   The decision was made to pull from our profits to fill these wallets back up over time, thus attempting to avert complete closure of the website at that time.   This worked fine for awhile, as profits decreased due to low volume and low Bitcoin prices, we would adjust our spending accordingly.  It wasn’t until an article from Coinfire came out that contained many false accusations that things began to crumble.   The article basically caused a bank-run, and since we only had so much in reserves for those currencies problems began.

“This is an excellent opportunity for us to diversify into digital currencies outside of Bitcoin, while also offering an additional outlet for our mining capacity,” said Mr Tsvetnenko.

“I’m looking forward to working with the world class team at Cryptsy, who are leaders in digital currency exchanges, to bring additional services to their over 250,000 strong customer base.

“We stand to benefit not just from an additional channel to monetise our mining capacity through leases and sales to Mintsy.co, but from the actual returns of Mintsy, as it provides services to digital currency customers across the globe,” said Mr Tsvetnenko.

Cryptsy Managing Director, Paul Vernon, will be appointed as Managing Director of the digitalX Minty joint venture.

“digitalX Mintsy is a great way for us to again increase the breadth and sophistication of services available to Cryptsy.com users. Mintsy.co will take mining to a whole new level of flexibility and convenience for our users, built upon our past successful track record” said Mr Vernon.

Hello,

All FIAT money withdrawals to cryptsy Wallet now stuck in https://cryptsy.commissionnetworks.com

After fill in withdraw to Bank (ACH) money stuck in "Processing...." mode, As commissionnetworks.com Support says

Cryptsy must do final approval to release the Funds.. Nothing is going on for more than a Week now.. Money still

in "Processing..." Cryptsy Support not replying.. I again contact the

Support of commissionnetworks.com... They confirm that it's not only my Wire is stuck but all of the withdrawals

from Cryptsy..  ..

Anybody else seen this problem???

Are you asking about cryptsy.ca or .com?

.com withdrawals are ALL as far as USD goes done via check. eur and other things of the like are a bit different.

.ca they have had a small bit of problems as vogogo recently changed all their API. Feel free to verify this with vogogo. None of this is out of the ordinary. Please stop the fud

Luckily, Marshall Long came along to put a stop to the FUD.

Yep, Cryptsy was taking and doling out fiat sans abiding to US laws. Who would've thunk it?

Of course the databases continue to go off line. How else do you wipe all of the evidence?

I think they may be breaking some legal rules if they don't have backups...

Broker-dealers face the highest level of compliance under the SEC
For most broker-dealers one of the biggest challenges they face is achieving and maintaining complete data compliance across the entire organization. The multitude of industry regulations surrounding data compliance makes this especially complex for small firms that lack their own internal compliance and IT staff.  Inadequate funds and reduced budget also make it difficult for these companies to build and maintain their own data compliant systems in-house. Simply archiving email is not enough today - all data across all systems must be addressed.

Each broker-dealer (regardless of size) must address the data compliance regulation defined in four main rules:

1. 17a-3 - Books and Records maintenance  (SEC)
2. 17a-4 - Books and Records Retention  (SEC)
3. 3510  - Business Continuity Planning  (NASD/FINRA)
4. 3010  - Electronic Record Supervision  (NASD/FINRA)

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand...     It's not just you! http://cryptsy.com looks down from here.

It's Sunday.

Paul Vernon just finished lunch after attending church.

Paul then went to Cryptsy's office to pound the monkey and the monkey got loose unplugging the secure servers.

Bad monkey!

Last time they opened up new coins for withdrawal, the server went down for 4+ hours of maintenance first... (database backup, et al)

CRYPTSY, the shame of trading, the market who cheated customers in the most brutal, by stabbings behind!!!This story has just started, a matter that we have to fight to when we recover all our money!!!
The largest market of electronic currency and became the prey of hungry sharks. I am sure of that, if Vernon, not return our coins, pay very bitterly!!!
Disclaimer: The following is entirely fictitious.

Could you imagine . . . one day . . . Vernon is in a nursing home, old, frail, dilapidated from all of the underage transvestite hooker AIDS . . .

Then, oddly enough, he is assigned a new care taker. A new care taker who once, back in the 'old days' of 2015, had an account on cryptsy.com.

*That life support ticker is right there . . .* he thinks to himself. *hmmmmm . . .*

"Good morning Mr. Vernon! How did you sleep? I made sure to give you an extra dose of laxative with your jello!"

"Eeerrrmmm sonnnnnyy, chwhat did yer say?, I'm so old and frail I can't understand you. I think my ears are clogged with underage tranny jizz. Ah, the good ol' days. Sure wish Marshall Long would give me a tug, erm, I mean, ring . . ."

"Oh, nothing Mr. Vernon. Just relax. It's . . . nap time."

"Whewww! Yippe! Nap time! My Favorite! . . . I do have one request though."

"Yes, Mr. Vernon?"

"Well, could you just cup my balls until I fall asleep?"

" . . . . . . . . . . "

"Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee . . . . . . . . ."

*Intercom* "Joe, we have another one . . . . Yeah, room 666."

"Eh, just roll him out the window, there's a dumpster right below."
