Hello,

I had the same problem with CUDA error - cannot allocate big buffer for DAG. Check readme.txt for possible solutions. after upgrade nvidia drivers (7 x GTX 1060 6GB) and Claymore's 11.7.

I try lbr tip but this solved problem only in half way couse trully Claymore's run OK but I had some msg from OS that is a problem with my virtual memory and the OS must shutdown Claymore's... (No matter if I changed setting for virtual memory or not)

ppl say, that only W10(not W10 per ce but WDDM 2.x) has this limitation(reserved and unusable vRAM). So prly W8.1 will work.
Also we checked and 8x1060 work fine on W7.
But you have to to this - https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/738070/cuda-setup-and-installation/8x-gpu-gtx-issue-under-windows/

However, for some reason DualMiner was crashing with 8xGPU. Two instances worked tho.

Also Quadro/Tesla owners can use TCC mode.

After that I restored a whole system image and do some tests and... everything works fine. At now my rig works on this settings without DAG or virtual memory problem:

Win10 x64
Claymore's 11.7
nvidia drivers 385.69
OS auto update option is disabled

BTW: thare are new driver on nvidia support Official Nvidia GeForce Game Ready 397.55 Hotfix http://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4661 but I tested it and they still have a problem with DAG and Virtual memory.

I think that is a problem with new nvidia drivers and CUDA, so we must wait for some fix and new version of drivers.

for 1060 3Gb, driver 382.53 works and will work for epoch 185 but not for 186.

if someone find drivers that can do 186 or more, please share (maybe olders drivers).

to test it is easy: -benchmark 186
yeah, no longer works, any1 tried with 376.33 driver and run?

It has been fixed by Claymore 11.7 dual miner. I tried it and at the beginning it said that the epoch number is too big for the 3 Gb cards in Windows 10 and that miner will try to allocate more memory to the cards. Waited a few seconds and they started mining with 24.2 Mhsh each card which is a good number.

Update your miner to 11.7 from Claymore and also I have latest Nvidia drivers installed.

This does not work anymore

Nothing else to do except to wait for new development from Claymore. I am sure he will work to fix it as there are many miners with Windows 10 so I think he will not want to lose these miners.

If I were him I wouldn't let the miner fee from these persons run away for what I believe will be a simple fix for a programmer of the Claymore calibre.

The solution was always the same - Linux, Windows 7 or Windows Server 2016/2019.

Whats the max number of gpus supported by each of those OS.

Looking to run 8 1060 3gbs.

Has any of you encountered again this problem at dag epoch number 184. Until now it has worked great with latest claymore but today started giving the usual error again.

I don't know what to do, don't want mine musicoin again. Mining ethereum directly i was making more money in a day. If the problems continue I think 1060 3gb price should fall a lot
