Ofcourse the tradition will fade away in certain circumstances but that must be good in a way as people are becoming more modernized . Culture on the other hand can never fade as parents pass on their culture to their children and in some situations we do follow the cultures

Is it possible if no one take care of their culture and traditions it can be forgotten?
Behavior and lifestyle will be changed because of modernization. Sad Huh

Culture and traditions are memories a throwback to our heriatage and it is very much likely to disappear with how the world is trending towards innovationsand technological advancements that we forget on the honed cultures that we have or the traditions that brought us here.

Its already evident on many provinces in almost all countries. Newer generations preferring technology over what defined their nationality. It makes me sad to see old folks trying very hard to keep the old cultures alive because once they're gone, no one would continue traditions. Its heartbreaking

At some level it's good that tradition is fading away. Imagine if the church still had the power as it did in the past and kings ruled us still? Where would've been? Earth was flat, Sun would spin around earth, witches would be burned alive and doctors would be allowed to treat people. :|

There is a possibility that there are some people that who forget their culture because of modernization. But sometime there are people who give importance to their and culture and until know they still follow.

You can't force anyone to follow a particular culture. Sometimes it can infringe on their human rights. Look at the case in Bhutan. Everyone there is supposed to wear the national costume, including the national minorities. Even if someone want to wear western clothes such as T-shirts and jeans, the law doesn't allow them to do that.

Culture and tradition has a high possibility to fade away if we do not take good care of it. These are the treasures and the gifts of our forefathers that must be passed to the next generations. We admit that sometimes, we don't give importance and we don't follow these all the time, but we must all treasure it because these are part of our identity.

In this case indeed the government and society have forgotten their traditional culture. In that case the government should be more assertive in this case possible by making organizations that form their traditions and cultures so that it is not extinct eaten by the era

In my own opinion, yes there is possibility that culture will be forgotten because of modernization.
People are loosing it because they don't hold on and they don't give value of it. The reason is they are not patronizing their own culture but they more patronize others culture.

To the majority of people Culture and Traditions will be forgotten, this is, just like you said, the cause of technology and modernization. But there are only a few who will stay loyal to their practices.

But then, you need to ask what you are going to get, if you remain loyal to the culture and traditions. The world is changing, and you need to change according to that. New technology is being invented everyday and the world is getting more urbanized. Very soon, more than 75% of the population will be living in the major urban centers.

I think that there will be people who will never forget about the traditions and culture of their people. They will transfer them from generation to generation. But you need to remember sometimes about your culture.

It depends upon the person, some of the people are always believing in their culture and live of their beliefs some are taking for granted what their culture is because of the modern days that they are experiencing.

I think so a lot of countries have lost their culture and reformed to a more western culture. Asian is famous for amazing culture but some parts have westernized which is a real shame.

With the age of modernization and with everyone being connected by the internet, gradually the culture and traditions of a lot of people are sinking to oblivion.  Within the next 20 years most of the people who have access to technology are going to forget about their tradition and move to technological age.
