This is very dissapointing. The government is manipulating the market. Price are good to buy but not for selling advices. If we could reach 8k then that's the time for us to celebrate coz cryptos are mooning soon.

Why bitcoin price keeps going down these days? Is it just the ETF rejection of Vinklevoss twins?

In my own opinion, there are people who are expecting ETF and they though that bitcoins will continue to dump if etf will not be approved that is the reason why the prices are decreasing right now.

I am hopeful as we see more and more positive sentiments. I think october ETFs will be ok by CBOE. If not, its fine, the market is very flexible.
I was predicted by many analyst that in the beginning of August the Sec will regularize bitcoins with the Etf and it seems it failure led to the confidence traders had about bitcoins. This is possible the cause of bitcoins reducing sharply recently.

I think this is a good time to buy now, but it is undeniable that Bitcoin is really affected by the ETF, but I don't think this effect will last too long!

I'm unsure about the current prices. The highs are getting lower at each swing, which means we can hit $2k in December or January. This would mean a bear market spamming three to four years, enough to push even long-term holders to despair.

Also, there's the Bitmain threat. They can dump thousands of bitcoins to cover their expenses, a disaster for insisting in a failed project, which should already be forgotten.

I think that's because there is news from the ETF and because there are also other bad news that finally makes many traders panic so that the bitcoin prices tend to fall and often collapse.

Man, it seems that bitcoin price is stabilized around 6000 USD, but I believe it will jump back up during the fall season.

The funny thing is that we have heard so many people complain about the value of bitcoin throughout last year as it is overpriced and now that we had a correction, some are still complaining it is going down hugely. Well, I guess we will never stop hearing complaints about the market anyway.
The market is still very bullish in the long term even it is being traded below $7000 and I am sure there is a huge possibility of seeing it huge, but for now, this is the time to gulp this dips like never before as they may never come again.

Etf is one of the reason why the market price is dropping since there are a lot of people who are expecting for etf to be accepted but it was rejected by the court instead.

I don't a lot are expecting an approval though. Btc has even moved up to 6.7k after the latest etf rejection. I don't think people deem it necessary for now but of course an approval would likely be good news to many in september.

even the price is below 7k at the moment, precisely the price of bitcoin 6400. Bitcoin prices are back down after the SEC rejected some bitcoin ETF applications.

The price has risen by $ 2,000 over the past week, and it fell by $ 500 yesterday "in reaction to ETF's news."
The news about ETF was not so bad and was limited[1] to a certain extent, so the effect was minimal.
If the rejection repeated in the middle of the next month, the downward trend would be substantial "to $ 5000."
The price now rebounds again at 7600 so all the rallies/dips in the next few days will be temporary.

Yes I am also expecting that ETF news are not going to effect the bitcoin price too much, I think that the current decreasing in bitcoin will be temporary. I think that most of the people are waiting for that news and hopefully very soon they will start investing money in bitcoin.

Thats the reason people give but really the ETF is just a side story.   For starters there is not just 1 ETF, this last mention is the most famously known ETF but also in any case its been rejected before.  This was just an appeal consideration so really quite unlikely.

So yea some bad publicity but not a real reason to sell.  Overall the dynamic is about buyers vs sellers and last year we had lots of bad news but rose anyway.  The China ban was a big one, I thought that'd be the top but it wasnt.

It is the ETF rejection that has caused that because the sudden rise in the price of bitcoin from 7500 price to 8000 and over was the confidence traders had in the upcoming exchange traded funds and there is a new twist that it is rejected.

Yes it's true the reason of bitcoin down is because of ETF rejection. And we still hoping that this situation is be approved and be alright. And it's a big impact to bitcoin price.

I think that is the usual thing that is experienced by the market now, it often even happens when prices only go up a little and go down again, I just think that many people predict that there will be an increase of up to $ 50k. Will it be real or just a speculation issue, because I am not sure about that prediction, yes I hope bitcoin will be bullish but definitely with a long period of time

This is a critical place. I have been talking about how bitcoin needs to stay up so that altcoins can follow and if bitcoin stayed up long enough time than altcoins would follow and we would have a big rush of bull run. However it failed staying like that, I thought it stayed long enough but obviously I was wrong, now that its low it needs to get up and stay up a lot longer because people are afraid of the drops happening. Either bitcoin will go up to 8k or so levels once again and stay there for a while or we will see bitcoin dropping even further which will result us to get another rush of bear market and everyone panicking about the price and selling fast.

That's what I see too. It's a critical level but it doesn't have a strong reason to go below it, so we should stop posting nervous messages about ETF's and other assorted nonsense. A quick look at the speculation page will reveal how nervous everyone is about the price.

It's a tough time, yes. But it's not the end of the world. Bitcoin has a fundamental reason to be valuable and will continue to exist because of it's position. More tensions around the world will also make it more valuable as people want to avoid loss or devaluation.

8500 looks like the next major resistance. It'll probably stumble back up there shortly.

Why bitcoin price keeps going down these days? Is it just the ETF rejection of Vinklevoss twins?

Why do people keep talking about that Winkelvoss twins ETF rejection all the time? This is old news.
The price is going down, because lots of crypto traders realised that this price increase trend won`t be stable and won`t last long,so they started to sell btc,in order to get some short-term profits.

And this is not new, we've seen BTC went even lower than $7k in the month of June, this is completely normal, haven't you been used to this? The price seems to go down and up, we should actually be thankful that even if it is a slow flow, we should be completely happy that it moved and did not stay at that mark, we should expect more ups rather than downs, this is normal and I'm sure it'll move up once again.

very drastically, the market like someone wears it, some time back has a very down price, rises a few weeks after that goes down again, if you have the same feeling different in the market maybe this is true there is a price manipulation.
