Strange. Why should this video be removed?
On what grounds was it flagged?

I found it very interesting that the author of the article in the OP was willing to pay 20 and 40% to a third party to receive payment. From what I can tell the third party was providing very little service above collecting payment.
I was also surprised by how much they were willing to pay just to get paid for their work.

It's either get 60% of the cut or not work at all. That's what government regulations cause in this environment; and that's why bitcoin is so powerful (being censorship resistant)
It wasn't the government regulations that caused the cost of doing business to be so high, it was the fact that there is so much credit card fraud when people buy porn that makes credit card processors charge these high fees. The government is prohibited from censoring or attempting to censor anything due to the 1st amendment.

The big companies like Paypal avoid adult businesses due to the legal liabilities and the fact that many of them go bankrupt all the time.  That means the void has to be filled by smaller companies (which process less volume) which have several employees to pay, hence the enormous fees.

Bitcoin can be the solution to this but Bitcoin still doesn't have a large enough userbase.  Conservative estimates are maybe only 1 million people use Bitcoin when in 10 or 20 years from now it could be a billion with a B.

They were not willing. They were forced to pay because they had no other options. Bitcoin has changed all that. Smiley

What are the rules to process payment for porn? Why are they force to pay huge fee?

The article said multiple times that the price was "well worth it" and that they were happy to only receive 60% and 80% of their sales.

perfect for porn industry. The question is many customers don't know anything about BTC. How could they pay with btc? If offering an big discount by paying with btc, they may have the incentives to learn, buy and pay with btc. Another advantage is anonymous and nothing about this will show up in your bank statement.
From what I got from the article, sellers of porn could offer a very large discount (in the double digits) and still end up with more money at the end of the day. I think this is by far the best industry that is legal to use BTC with.

God bless her - isn't she sweet  Tongue

But what's with the shaven haven ? Everywhere I look, shaven havens.  Whats wrong with pubic hair ?   I once had a girlfriend (no, honestly, I did) who said she fancied shaving off her pubic hair. I wasn't having any of it - "No", I implored her, "not on your nelly. The pubes go, I go too".

Edit. I feel like a real kill joy now. If the btc lady of the OP should read this I would just like to apologise and say that your bald labia majora (I had to look that up on Wikipedia btw] are lovely when looked at from the correct angle. I reckon they'd look really fetching with a BTC tattooed on either side  Wink

The anonymity of bitcoin is really important in this business. Nobody knows you're spending your salary on fetish porn Cheesy

Well since bitcoin is user based, no banks required; anyone can join in this business; competition equals lower prices!
