People are still buying Ethereum. Maybe they are not informed, or they believe the Ethereu will survive this crisis and come back stronger, like bitcoin .

I would like to see a thread where everyone says how much they lost! According to the trade volumes and the prices there are a few people who have a lot of eth and dao and they pretty much lower the price on command buy cheap and when everyone else is thinks big it goes up they sell! Just look up at the low price and high price and transaction volume! There is something catchy about this !

Part of me is ashamed to say that the programmer in me is 'slightly' impressed by the hacker.. sorry..

Now that he has the ETH locked up in a child DAO, maybe they should negotiate with the hacker so that he can be put in charge of the project. Clearly he knows how the DAO works much better than the devs

according to this it says split on a split on a split on a split he practically just claimed his eth at the maximum amount of eth available for dao if I am right!

this wouldnt be good and i think this will be done sooner or later, the only thing they can do now is to roll back all the transactions but as long as it is decentralized it will have a negative effect on peoples view to it as decentralized currency should not be controlled like that, either way i hope everything will be solved

as far as i know dao is somehow based on ethereum, and as dao was hacked 8 million ethereum was stolen
