so what is the current state of dark markets after law enforcement took out those main ones a while back?

are there many of them still? have there been any exit scams? are they looking to go properly decentralised?

it's a really fascinating subject and it would be a cool to have a thread on here keeping people up to date on the news side of things, but i guess there's a small paranoia problem with that.

Dark marketplace is one among the largest zone where bitcoin usage can be felt big. During the early days if people haven't used it at least on such requirements it couldn't have reached the present level. All had happened for good and some people think it as a negative factor which is not true in reality.
I think that these are negative moments for the use of crypto currency for each user. In connection with these difficulties, it may be necessary to resolutely concern the issue of legalization of the crypto currency in each country. I understand that we all want to avoid total control over our income, but to avoid problems, we still need to make up our minds.

Hello Dear,

I have a question and i hope someone can help me out. I see on the Tor network a lot of dark marketplaces where you can pay with bitcoin. My question, how do they make those markets? Is there any tutorial we can find?

How do they make those markets? This is a complicated and risky question, just sound like you are a innocent or a cop. Better to find it NOT,in my own opinion. Dark Market means an illegal traffic or trade in officially controlled or scarce commodities.

Whether was my desision i'd select the the pay pal paying method because i can believe in this method i made use of it often prior to also it was always beneficial also with things i did not obtained also got my money-back and so i keep paypal.it
If theres no bitcoin I'd to stick with PayPal but what's good today is I can avoid this ridiculous fees  from PayPal. And dark marketplaces will had to make their own market and currency and with good timing that is the start they used bitcoin.

I believe that for people who bought bitcoins couple of years back and didnt invest them on pizzas it ended upbeing an outstanding investment :g
Transactions started with those pizzas and thats how dark market startwd to have an idea that it can be used as currency.

Dark marketplaces are bad places lol most people there are there for the illegal business so.. alot of undercover agents aswell.  I've heard about this new black market called theMarketplace but it's pretty difficult to enter or something, might be worth reading up on if you are interested.

You just need to google it out. I believe that there are a lot of tutorials about this case. But I think you shouldn't buy anything in dark market on Tor cause there are a lot ot scammers in here and almost things are being sold on Tor dark market are steal or something like that.

Honestly, there is no point in trying to buy goods or services there for any reason whatsoever with Bitcoin, if you don't know how to follow steps to avoid being linked. I've never personally delved in trying to find places that sell drugs or whatever because I personally don't endulge in that kind of thing, but even if I did, I still wouldn't because it's a very sketchy place to be roaming around.

I think is not a problem that we invest in the dark marketplace something that you can just do for those days that the dark marketplace also good.
Tell it to your government or lawyer when the FBI founds out that you are there and doing some "dark" transactions. That's why it is called dark marketplace, do you think that there are some transactions there that are good? Most of them are illegal or I should say that all of it are illegal, if I were you I'll set aside my interest of getting involve there and forget about curiosity there.

The usage of bitcoin into dark marketplace has decreased a lot compared to the past days. Earlier, the major circulation of bitcoin happened on the dark marketplace and gambling industry. This has decreased to a large scale than the past days, due to the legal usage of certain drugs which has been granted through some acts recently.

It was reduced because there are other coins that they prefer to use and that's more efficient for hiding things that they want to hide and it's even more anonymous. Monero is one of it and look at the growth of monero, this is the reason why I'm holding monero now. These types of markets are existing since the old times and what I only know is that there are big and reputable people who are backing up this industry.

Yes, while looking at dark web I too noticed that most of the webpages there have same layout script and the copy each other.  I think there is a special service available on the web to start a new website. you have to build contacts on deep web to do so. There should be many servers interconnected so that the person could not be tracked as it is very secured anonymous pear to pear connection going on and anyone cannot track it so their safety would be first. The only answer to your question you can find it on the same deep web not here I think.

I suppose the decresing usage of bitcoins in dark marketplaces is more related with the high fees/long confirmation time and with many markets being closed by police. I am sure a lot of black markets will come back and will use some more private currencies like Monero. I already know of 2 that are active and accept XMR as currency.
Yeah the high transaction fee and delayed transaction time could be an element to reduce the dark marketplace but there could be another big reason and that is the tracking of bitcoin transactions. In many countries the authorities are tracking bitcoin transactions and as the IRS claims to tracking 50% of bitcoin transactions. So, the dark marketplace has switched to the alts. Where they are not under any official observations and run their operations smoothly without any interference.
I don't really believe that they can able to track it out and talking on 50% of all transactions? Impossible. I would bet that follow even a single transaction would really put a pain on their heads.Transactions fees and confirmation times would really affect such transactions and as you said they can easily switch into altcoins specially on Monero. Less fees,Less transactions time and full anonymity which would really be a great recipe on making illegal transactions. Suck to hear off but this is in fact the reality on crypto world which it is really being used as a tool to make those kind of doings.

There are marketplaces that are just only going to take your bitcoins, in anyway possible, we need to be more careful with this sites, mostly are.ound on the deepweb, we need to updated our device's security, have our wallets encrypted and of course not to share our private keys to someone, there is a reason, why it is called a private key. When using a public wifi, i suggest don't since most hackers can already get access to public wifi and can easily track your phone or even your wallet. In this case, just have transactions to trusted people and not some random guy in the internet who clearly wants to get all info, even if you want to create a site, it will backfire on you, since the people who started the dark marketplace are just waiting for others to follow them, and they might have already formed a group to get the new ones, still it is not advisable.
