This deserves it's own thread. Duffield says "You can't change the rules in the middle of the game."

OK Evan. Then why did you:

- lower the block reward 100x from 500 coins/block to 5 coins/block (AFTER intentionally misleading people about the launch time and instamining 1.5 million coins in the first 8 hours)

- lower the total supply that will ever exist from 80 million to 20 million coins (again AFTER they were done instamining)

After I asked many investors that purchased $10-100k USD worth of Darkcoin came out of the woodwork and said that would rob them. You can't change the rules in the middle of the game. It's in the past and we're moving on.

Can you imagine buying $30000 worth of something and then the developers making it worth $15000 overnight to appease a small group of users?

no he does NOT!, the crazy thing is in most countries, if you hold bitcoin over 1 year the hole profit is tax free (germany for example).
