Interesting TOPIC regarding very profitable FPGA review by our GURU  TECHMAN.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z-AjtIQVJjo

That was a good video to sum up allot of the information that we have (or don't have in some cases) about the potential of FPGA mining. I'm following the topic closely to see what the earliest adopters have to say once they get their FPGAs in hand. It's just too much $ for us to invest without seeing verified proof from trusted sources first.

@MetalMag - Very nice setup and great video
@F360 -  Electricity is your biggest expense and 26 cents kw is too high to do anything but a few hobby machines or mine using the newest ASIC that use very little power like X3,B3,Z9.  For all other stuff, it's hard to make money at such high rate.  Consider hosting your ASIC with companies such as Mining4Less etc because their complete hosting rate which includes electricity is a little more than half of what you're paying.  So why deal with noise, heat and headache?

yun9999: may i ask what state you operate in and what is the electricity cost ? i'm about to make a similar project but very afraid of electricity cost on tier 3, i believe is about 27 cents per kw. If i may ask, did you hire an electrician to install everything ? in my garage i have about 10 available circuits 20 amp each and not sure if is enough for such project.
Thank you in advance and i appreciate your help!

I posted in  your hosting thread.,

Thanks Philip.

@Others - I thought this was an exciting news.  Mining4Less.com is doing this promo for BTCtalk members.  Not only do they have 1 of the best rates for hosting, but this deal on top is AMAZING.  I'm #6 Top SIA Miner on SiaPool and all my A3s are hosted with them.  My D3 army is also Massive, but that is not necessarily something I'm proud of at the moment.  =)  They are also running there as well because they are just too loud for my home.  Hahah

Refer a friend and get $35 per Referral.  The Referred friend must host a minimum of 5 machines with us.   Refer 5 friends or more and get 10 times $200 off Bitmain coupon on top which is worth $2000.  We will also do a monthly referral contest and whoever referred the most friends, will get another $220 Bitmain coupon on top of all their bonuses.  This month contest will start now until end of April

Official Thread for www.Mining4Less.com Hosting site.  I love those guys and I host many of my ASICs with them as well.    They work mostly with bigger clients but I want more forum awareness so even small miners will have better choices and options.

@ALL -  It's good to hold LTC coins now in preparation for the LCC Fork where you get 10 LCC per LTC after Feb 18/19.  Read more about it here.  Don't worry about Charlie Lee calling it a SCAM, we got nothing to lose by holding LTC coins in a desktop wall like www.jaxx.io and then after the split, move the coins to your main wallet.  Then you can safely upload your jaxx private keys without worry as it will be an empty wallet then.

Thanks for the Feedback BSAlex.  I pinged my friend about that and they mentioned there was an issue with their mail inbox which was resolved today.  They will be responding to you soon.

Thanks a lot! I know that it is not an easy thing to start new online shop. Trying to be helpful :-)

Appreciate it BSALEX and many others.  They are seeing a lot of activities thanks to you all.  I just ordered more S9 and A3 to be hosted by them.  Good group of people.

Thanks for the support BSALEX.  I relayed your message to my buddy.  It will get change within a week.  He's going to be adding a lot more product soon including hard to get stuff.   It's always good to support Vendors that are not only sellers but are also miners themselves and care about our special needs / requests.

Contact details pop on the site, but I get no answer for a simple question about breakout board compatibility :-(
Seem like your buddy is not ready to get proper responce time due to overload or message mishandling.

@SMcalister91 - Awesome Tip on the PFsense.  I ordered a unit to try out.  I'm building 1 using a Corei5 CPU, will post more on it later.
@Beerman81 - That looks pretty awesome too!
@ Romi - It hashes about 790-810 Sol on full Throttle using 250W of power.

@Everyone - My Buddy's www.mining4less.com place will soon open 2 new Mega Hosting facilities to expand his existing 2 Facilities.  Please let me know if you know anyone who wants to HOST their ASICs.  I believe his site will be live after March 15.  His prices are very competitive and he already have 2 Existing Mega facilities that he hosts many rigs.  U guys know my level of quality so if I'm vouching for www.mining4less.com hostings.  They currently host many of my GPU rigs and A3/D3/S9/L3s and Innosicilon A4+.

Dealing with routers dying now.  Anyone know of a good router for up to 500 rigs?

The Ubiquiti EdgeRouter Pro will be the perfect router.  It can handle over 2 million + packets per second and it comes at a steep discount compared to Cisco.  And its much faster.

ddtech

If anyone is looking for a cheap router that will easily handle a lot of traffic, check out PFSense. its a free linux os used to turn any desktop into an edge router, just requires that the desktop have 2 ethernet ports, i just used a cheap gigabit pcie card to achieve this.

I got this one: https://cradlepoint.com/products/aer-3100

Works great!....and it has LTE! So, if you main goes down...poof you are up and running!

Awesome TiP - Going to look into it as I can use a laptop for this purpose and it will allow me the battery of the laptop to act as a free UPS devices for the router function!

Great post, my fellow Texan.  Btw...Louis XIII is overrated.  There’s much better tasting cognacs Smiley.

I don't think it's over rated at all.  Not everyone can say they've tasted the XIII and not 1 have I've known said they have been dissappointed.    I crack a bottle for every big celebrations and I celebrate very often.  Here's another bottle along with my Paradis.  Even the bottle and the box is worth money and all my guests fight for it.  I think the Hennessy Paradis is over rated.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s still a great cognac.  I only mention it because we do blind taste tests at our Chinese New Years parties with a low,  mid, and high end cognacs for fun to see if people can match the correct cognac.  Not many have gotten it right or preferred the LXIII.  Those bottles are definitely worth some dough though! My friends got sold a bootleg bottle in China once and said it tasted like herbal medicine lol.
