Be extra cautious in trading during a downtrend in the market. Most experts with extensive experience in trading can only make profit at around 5-25% profit daily involving a huge amount of capital. If you are confident with your skills, try it. If you made a mistake, learn from it and modify your strategy as needed.

That's right with you saying, day trading does have a lot of advantages but it's actually fun when done. With a little capital sometimes has many advantages because it is good at reading the market situation.

From my reading it seems that day trading involves moving in and out of trades quickly - how much would you need to be investing to make this worthwhile?  Over the last couple of months, things seem to be moving rather slowly?

It's difficult to do day trading in this bearish market when most of the coins are keep falling even if you have huge money you will lose it if you will continue trading your coins. Better to buy and buy and wait the price to rise at-least 10% to get profits.

The order of 5000-10000$ I think would be enough but the more the better of course. But it's not in the amount rather, and Your skills.
It can't be avail by other traders here. There are traders who are just starting and they aren't sure with their chosen investment. Day trading needs practice and it's not just an easy profit activity, it takes time before you can master it. Start somehow with $25 - $100.

Hard to say. Since this is a very vague concept of "good daily income". For each person, this amount will be different. Therefore, I can not say the exact amount.

For me you need to have a huge minimum amount of investments when you are doing day trading aparently 5000$ to 10,000$ minimum of investments to see that you already earn a good daily profit. Anyway you can start in low minimum of investments but its a waste of time only.

Having a small amount of capital for day trading is not a waste of time because you can still learn from your trading. It also makes you have patience and it wouldn't compromise your emotions when you are still trading small amount because most likely you can still afford to lose it. It is advisable to start with a small amount and then later on if you are already familiar with the market and have your own trading strategy then you can already add capital to it or build your way up.
It's wasting a lot of our time. Imagine you can earn pennies but you will able to less a few bucks due to the bearish trend. to get the maximum profit and then we must put a lot of effort and money to be traded in the market.
It's really simple just buy when the price is so cheap and sell them when you are getting some profits.

Dude, day trading is a full-time job and very very difficult (I am an experienced trader). If you are not a pro trader in the markets or in the forex, probably you are going to lose some money.
Just try middle or long-term investment. I believe this is going to be more profitable for you.
Good luck

Actually this current price market movement is really in favor of day traders as we observed the sudden spike and falls of the price of all coins specially the Bitcoin. Although this is a tough activity but if you have no stable job and know how day trading work then there is no problem except the price is really unpredictable.

if you are a day trader, you should not look at a single coin, try to see another coin that moves faster than the coin you see now, try to find another coin and try to split your trade to minimize the loss if one of your coins does not match you hope

To trade safely you need a lot of money. When a large amount of money can be traded at 1 2 % and it will be safer.
it doesn't matter how much money do you have. Day trading is hard work. If you think that your work hard, try day trading then you will say that it is harder. Many people think that it is easy to make 1-2% profit and you do not need to do anything, but this is a big mistake. Try not to lose on training trades, just $ 1000 or $ 2000 and then you will understand what it means to lose money when you're trading, without the possibility of come back your money.

Day trading allow fast reaction on the market state. Yes, I can get profit 1-2% but it's stable. And in this case I don't have much loses because of massive dumping. Day trade by USDT pairs allow enter/exit and save own deposit with small profit day by day
I'm more of a hodler than a trader, but now contemplating entering the day trading scene. Tried my hands at a few, never really got that that you have to set your profit very low compared to the x2 - x10 for medium and long term portfolios.
My question is what percentage range works better for day trading

Indeed, this daily trading is quite tiring but looks fun to see the coins that rose with green. Although slow if the price goes up with a good volume, certainly good to follow.
