From my reading it seems that day trading involves moving in and out of trades quickly - how much would you need to be investing to make this worthwhile?  Over the last couple of months, things seem to be moving rather slowly?

It will depend on how much you can invest for your day trading, but in doing the day trading you need to study and learn it first for you not to lose what you have invested on the crypto it will be hard for you to do the crypto if you do not know how to do and it will be too risky if you don't have a strategy in doing the trading. Before you do it you have to have a steps and a strategy in doing the crypto. In crypto you have to study it first before you do it learning is the main factor in doing the crypto investment for you not lose.

The very first thing you need to learn about trading is on what coin youre going to trade and what are the risks on trading. It true that doing day trading can earn you a lot of profits, but  you need to make sure that the coin your investing can earn you a profits in a day trading because some coin cant even move a price or it can move only at 1 sat . you need to select a coin that the price is changing everyday,.

Actually the current market conditions do not seem so bad for a daily trader, because the price of bitcoin has been moving at a fairly stable price range over the past few weeks, but this low volatility still allows it to generate a profitability of 10% daily on average.

It is true that people involved in cryptocurrency trading can see with some disdain a gain of this magnitude, because they have become accustomed to violent swings of 50% from one day to the next, but compared to other markets it is still quite appetizing.

Day trading is very stressful work for me. We have to be updated always and review the market movement everyday. We have also needed big capital for day trading to maximize the profit gains from trading.

day trading is very good and quite profitable, but this requires iron nerves and a profitable strategy! For me it is better to buy and forget for 2 years. Profit turns out good

I do day trading but I usually do it seasonally depending on the Current market trend, I would advise you thread carefully especially in the current bearish market..
But I do support buying good coins to HODL for a long period of time, this valuable if you have time to gather TA.
I would advise for a newbie coming into the trading space,it's best you don't trade alone, find a group of like minded individuals who are more experienced to learn

You don't need to use the amount of investment to win, you should rely on the number of investments to win! The current market is very suitable for short-term trading, this is the truth!

Day trading is not easy to do and it is harder in a weak market. Very few traders succeed at it. Doing swing and long term trading is less stressful and likely more profitable.
Anytime the price can be plunged instantly and that gives the daily traders the more risk to betting on the exchange site. The daily trade is such a thing that should be avoided on this period until the market will recover and we should not do that.

The market doesn't look slow, it just declines. It has the volatility that can allow you to earn on day trading, even on a drop, but you need to have a very huge work experience, at least two or three years, and it's better to invest for a long time for inexperienced traders.

i have opposite opinion. now market is so red, btc stay at price 6k3. no reason to trade evert day. if btc is active, daily trade might really earn a lot.

To earn good money on the right day trading, you need to have a minimum of 2000 - 3000 dollars. Having such a sum on your account, you can trade without putting yourself at risk of losing everything.

To gain much with day trading you need to have bigger capital too.

It's not only about moving out off your money on exchanges because you can let your funds stay there by converting it to some stable coins like Tether.

There's no definite amount on how much you need, you can experiment on your own start with few bucks $50 but don't expect big gains.

Totally agree with you mate.
People should invest a small amount of money before investing big ones.
Buy cheap coins, for example, DGB and day trade with it.
There is a bunch of promising coin but it's still very low on the marketcapitalization. More capital and more profit, less capital and less profit. The result of how many profit you will earn from your daytrading depends on your initial amount before starting your trade. I guess you need only to invest in those coins which have a lot of volatility.
