Main trouble is, that network have too small number of peers.
Peer drop occurs, when new node is syncing and get number of blocks ahead where diff is lower than currently processed blocks.
It can be changed in coin code, but in long run it can be harmful - someone can spam network witch new 0 diff invalid blocks causing traffic.

That happens when there is insufficient data to build the 1 day chart. Seems there was only 1 trade on the 9th

If your node is losing all connections while syncing add to doubloons.conf
It allow reconnect after 10 sec to same node. In most cases it is because of diff swing, I`m pretty sure we not have any malicious node in network.
