I got a question about security: how safe is my password? Let's imagine someone manages to steal your DB or whatever stores the user passwords. How difficult would be for that person to crack my password which looks like: TIzWU92Fn43K8CmYVclq

Tycho, is this due to the varying DDoS on the website that is going on, or is there another issue. Prior to this start of the DDoS, my linux clients were the highest producing Mhash/sec and they are essentially reduced in effectiveness to 30%
The LP issue may be caused not by DDoS. Some versions of Ufasoft miner are trying to use LP incorrectly, thus we had to disable LP for Ufasoft miner at the pool side.I tried to explain the correct behavior to ufasoft's author, but it's still not fixed yet. I'll try to write one more message to him
Ok, I just rolled back to 0.13 for now.

Any guesses why my auto-payment (5.0 BTC) sent on 7/3/2011 has yet to be in my wallet?
Longest an auto-pay has taken previously was about 2 days.

If you don't see it at both sites, PM me your login name or bitcoin address, but this would be very strange.

BTC Poolwatch can't connect via my deepbit API token either. So I'm flying blind here, hoping my miners are actually still connecting.
EDIT: miners not connecting either. Bummer. ;-(

Just wanted to let you know the automatic payment isnt working. I was at .19 and set it to .25 btc. Im at .29 now and nothing has been sent. :-\

Just wanted to let you know the automatic payment isnt working. I was at .19 and set it to .25 btc. Im at .29 now and nothing has been sent. 
in my case, I see that payments happen every day around the same time:
2011-07-06 16:09
2011-07-07 17:24
2011-07-08 16:50
2011-07-09 16:23
and not the exact moment it goes over my set limit.
how much time since you went over .19?
I believe it is working correctly, it will automatically send you your balance, once per day, when over the limit you specify... It will not send the balance the minute you hit your limit, it will queue a transaction for the daily payout time because you have reached your set limit.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
that's correct. my automatic payouts happen every night at 23:00.

Yes, if the problem version could be identified I could make a point of using a different version. I have .13, .14 and .16 on hand. I've been using 0.16 lately.

Tycho can you say something about the downtimes in the last hours? Happens often that I can't connect to the deepbit homepage.

Im in that "part", None of my miners want to connect. Wtf? my brothers miners are running but mine arent, We live in the same building mining though the same router
