I don't mind helping the pool to get it back up. Are the stats on the site correct? Did this really happen:

I did. My smallest miner is 20ghz. It is not recording any of the hashes. I had it run for 15 minutes. Is it cgminer compatible these days?
Join a team and leave it running a hour or so and then it will show because stats take an hour to show. Also using cgminer 3.8.1 with no issues but high staged work also.

Compatible with what? Deepbit? or mining in general?
I'm mining with a 6.7Ghs Jalapeno and CGMiner 3.8.1 with no issues. I did increase the Queue to 60 so that there is more staged work available for when the pool may be slow to dish out more work.

Why not point 5ghs of your power to the pool until stratum comes along or what ever load you can put on.

Is the website still visible to you or not ?Yes. Has reconnected again but only 2.8ghs at the moment. Would normally average 4.5ghs out of 9.
Look forward to Stratum sooner rather than later. I think you may see a surge in pool speed also

What the heck happened to this awesome pool? I mined 60+ coins back in the day. What is the current status? Should I bring my 80G in?

Hello.I'm sorry, but permanent address lock is permanent and can't be unlocked. There was a warning about that in the confirmation e-mail.
Otherwise what would be the point, if it can be unlocked via e-mail or forum requests ? Also by locking your address you mean that you are not 100% trusting your e-mail.
