i have a problem with my speed reported deepbit.net. it varies from 43MH/sec to 130 MH/s but my 4850 never exceeds 83MH/sec nor goes under 80.
is it just me or is it a bigger problem?

I am getting "Redirection limit reached" when accessing deepbit.net JSON stats from PHP. I tried both deepbit.net and pit.deepbit.net.

Probably also the cause why deepbit.net is not shown in bitcoinwatch.com, neither.

Using wget I can get result fine. Strange.

I'm getting quite a few "miner is idle" warnings. Is the problem at my or at your end?
PM me your login name.
Is your displayed speed at account page way lower than expected or not ?

Well, not really. I'm not the only one behind the pool, so the profit is divided. Also the high USD/BTC rate wasn't always there. I can live with this profit without having a job (heh, actually the pool support IS even more than a fulltime job), but it's not THAT big, I never had even $10k in my hands at once Smiley
And the profit is not always positive, sometimes we have unlucky runs when PPS is draining pool's balance Smiley

Appreciate the info Tycho.  Lots more to discuss with the lads methinks Smiley

Sorry for possible offtop, but I want to feedback on those new GUI changes in statistics!
Well done! I really like it! Keep it going this way!
Thanks. I'm planning to add much more stats to it and may be completely rework stats+account pages.

Also there is a chance that new, Third payout mode with a pool-hopping protection will be deployed soon.

GREAT to hear that!

Looking forwadr to it Cheesy

[0 Khash/sec] [719 Accepted] [56 Rejected] [RPC (+LP)]
This number of stale shares is normal? It says RPC (+LP) but i don't see any "LONGPOLL: pushed new work" in the console.
No, it's not normal.

LP may be not fully working now, but it's not normal even without LP

P.S,

When I got up this morning and went to check my rig and the thing that got me upset was that 2 of my 4 miners total had been idle with some strange text in phoenix cmd windows saying something about network failure.
Sorry but I did not take a screen of that error.

Does anyone had anything simmilar too?

Out of curiosity, is that guy just blowing smoke or can you really generate that much cash in a day running a pool?  Some friends and I have been discussing it but weren't sure if it was worth the effort.

it's not that fucking hard: calculate how many blocks are generated each day times 50 BTC times 3%

Yes we ran quite a few projections while we were discussing it but until I posted here I'd never had an opportunity to ask a pool operator about it directly.  Thanks for your obvious and very polite suggestion anyway.
