. Crime like  kpo fire, human trafficking, drug, organ harvesting, kidnapping etc
Op just a point to air-mark all what you mentioned for sure are crimes but, kpo fire or bunkering in my own opinion is not a crime, and. I'll tell you why.

The government are a major problem to the incessant increase of kpo fire camps in all the creeks of the Niger-Delta when they have failed and refused to use this resource to better the lives of the host communities and dwellers from where this resource is been extracted from. The source of livelihood of the people such as farming and fishing has been destroyed by this same resource (oil) that the government has unendingly be extracting thereby causing oil spillage to the soil and rivers if the people of the Niger-Delta while they gain nothing but wallow in abject poverty while a source of making money lies behind their backyard. What do you think would happen?

Secondly, provide a licence to these local kpo-fire /bunkering expertise that are now into this business which you the government have now tag illegal, for through the provided license and government regulating the process these guys can pull out finance together and build  modular refineries that will function in an international standard and will help reduce the price of PMS, kerosene, gas etc while they pay tax to the government, but rather the government choose to sit on the reality in their own selfish interest using the media to blacklist the bunkering actors.

While in the northern part of Nigeria (Zamfara) they have gold that is been mined by the local community dwellers whereas it was supposed to be the property of the FG just as they claim the oil to be a property of the FG but nobody is saying or doing anything or attacking those mining the gold's  over there. So mate, this is all politics weigh beyond us.

The government knows the right thing to do let them do it and stop labeling kpo fire actors criminals, as it will help saves lives and reduce the cost of cooking gas and PMS/kerosene. Mind you, if not for all these kpo fire's we won't have been able to have access to kerosene or even afford it.

My people I say make we reason this matter for here even though is not of Bitcoin or crypto the kind of risk and choice of hustle citizens involved in the society without taking second thought, and value of their life all in the name of making ends meet. I begin to reason the way I feel anytime I here some sad news involving on this crime if is lack of information or not properly knowing the consequences that make them, or is just personal decision. Crime like  kpo fire, human trafficking, drug, organ harvesting, kidnapping etc but my major focus is on kpo fire because it happens always in our environment where death news comes in the country almost on daily basis, shey be is the money that make people never to give up, or hardship abi  this one now government or leaders not helping citizens or poor knowledge on the side effects. Or frostration, if is poor knowledge are their no educated in the area where it happen, if frostration are they the only one? Help chok mouth

Op your matter is eating deep in the society, the truth be say as they always said an idle man is devil workshop so it's, before now this things was very minimal in the society due to the economy was gud people could feed squarely but now the government done dabarul every body they hustle to survive no matter the cost or what the risk could be have the slogan that all die now die. But in another way round this kind of rich is making our society unrest and unproductive because people are restricted in many if this area of illegal activities leading to low productivity, also increasing the hardship in another form in the society.

Na di government dey cause am. Those deads wey dey happen in mostly in di Niger Delta na because there is no any other job for them to do naim make dem dey do the kpo fire at first it was called Asari fuel because the first militants in the region initiated it and dey did it because dem no get work to do to survive. Nigeria government sees that kpo fire business as a criminal offense in the country but me I no see am like that, and if the federal government modernized the kpo fire nd employ those boys, them go do better work for the country for refining fuel for us.

Yes at first people wey die for that thing plenty but at time goes they too have advanced so the death rate also reduces. It is not a frustration but it is part of the human hustling.

Actually this kpo fire of a thing, na just opportunity wey people see to take make money. Even if say dem know say e dey illegally Dem still dey do am, because Dem no get another choice to take make money. Many of those people dey aware say if pot explode or catch fire people around am go die, but Dem no go gree quite. For my area e get two boy wey been dey go do this pko fire to make money then feel among. After them do the work finish na just clothes Dem dey carry the money buy. Meaning as the risk sef big their pay sef still big, so some persons fit just dey do am because them wan make sharp and easy money forgetting about the risk. Though the government dey advertise steady say e dey dangerous and illegal but our people no dey hear word.

The above mentioned are illegal activities which are risky to take and frustrates lives on the course of chasing money or pleasures of self satisfactories.
At your most emphasis @ OP, that of kpo fire is paramountly tolerable ought to be considered indulgeable because its risks is basically on the fact that the illegal refineries are no adequately equipped so as to minimize the risks of explosive tendencies and also as considering to produce quality Petro products.
And by so doing, these victims ignorantly accepts to take the risks all to make the money without undermining that their lives are critically at stake to lost and or damages.

Let love lead
Firstly, these are crimes on a normal setting, the government should help combat crime and help the citizens live a healthier and safer life.  In our own country, these illegal activities are choppins avenues for greedy politicians, so they turn both a blind eye to it, and a deaf ear to the outcries for the level of danger it presents. Their personal interests in such activities makes then reluctant to tackle it to the interest of the country at large.

Let's take a like scenario. The issue of continual poverty in our country is an intentional act, reason being that they benefit from the funds designated for infrastructural and economical development, keep it for themselves and then when the citizens are hungry, they can utilize their vulnerabilities for their political ambitions and illegal activities. During election time, they share peanuts from the money that should have been used to better the country, and the hungry  masses collect these peanuts and vote them back into power and the cycle continues.

These guys that are involved in that kpo fire stuff are struggling to make a living, people are really suffering and any opportunity to make some extra cash will always be patronized by Nigerians regardless of the risks involved because "all die na die". When people are hungry and their welfare are not well cater for, these are things that are possible, they go to any length to find their daily bread. I can't say that they're too lazy to hustle with legitimate means because here in our country, there are very few employment opportunities for minors and most of them are illiterates so they might not be able to access the elevated or professional positions available, so they resign to survivor mode. I believe if politicians and wealthy men would ass of today take away their interests from these illegal business and create more jobs for the masses, it will reduce drastically, cos if the big players are out, the smaller players will not be a big problem to checkmate

Well i don't  think is lack of education rather it is choice. Everyone knows what is good and bad for them so they think is good for them knowing fully well what the consequences are, no excuse is enough for someone to commit a crime and again no one has the worst case in life, they may be thinking their own case is the worst go out and see people their case is as 10 times their own case,  so there's no reason for someone to engage him/herself in those mesh.
However,  everyone is responsible for the action or choice they make.

I believe say them know the risk involved before them choose that kind of hustle and country never hard people start to dey do kpo fire so that's not an excuse they should find a better excuse, kpo fire na wetin dey since and even with the harassment from soldiers they'll still continue with the work, I no even blame them cause from your question you say make we talk about those people wey dey involve for illegal hustle, I find fault for those people wey dey do kidnapping and organs traders, cause country hard no mean say kidnapping go help matters, no normal human being go start to dey kidnap people that's very bad and people wey dey do all this things dey blame the economy even if economy better non of them go change so there's nothing like poor economy, although the economy fit affect little children wey no get helper but not a grown up adult wey fit hustle, any person wey them catch make the person face the punishment to reduce the kidnapping rate for Nigeria.

The country hard, the country hard, em no be enough reason or excuse wey person go use to risk em life join for wetin go put em life for danger all because em d hustle for em family or to live above poverty by eating three square meal.

We know sae without hustling peso no go fit survive above hardship for our country but putting your life at risk no follow cos those who d hustle for, to feed them, go survive and live without you for their life.

So make everyone do their hustle jejely without putting their lives at stake. By the way em get some hustling wey peso no need to commit crime or endanger em life inside am. I said this because, if peso caught up with one, na emself d whole blames and regrets go d upon, no be on family members. And those of your family members wey you d do all this illegal hustles for, go turn your back against wey bad thing happen to you.

In nutshell, make peso use em head and no do pass themselves for this bad economy by committing or endangering their life because that one no be excuse when they are caught up by the crime committed or death.

Op no too blame these people wey they do illegal business for Naija. What do you expect from a country where leaders go think to loot all our money for themselves and also settle the people who are close to them, and leave the masses to suffer? Op if you don dey for Naija and you no get means of survival, and nobody to assist you for live, you fit do anything wey go give you money even though that thing go affect some people. This kpo fire hustle no go fit stop because some top-ranked members for the army they work hand in hand with all these boys to freely move the product to consumers. And if police catch them, those boys go call people at the top for them to be released, and this thing they also make people put heads for illegal activities.

The present situation of the country is so alarming. People fight to meet with daily needs. With hard labour, feeding ones family still seems difficult. This frustration may lead alot to this crime. If the country become better today, crime rate will definitely reduce to the minimal level.

Whenever I look at the current inflation and how difficult it is to make money in the legitimate way, especially when you work your a** down to make things work doing menial jobs. It is the most physical work but less rewarding to do. I cannot imagine myself engaging in such works and yet go home with an equivalent of less than 5 dollars in a country where fuel/litre is almost getting to a dollar. Our rate of consumption of fuel in Nigeria is almost 80% as we use it for several things including to move our vehicles for transportation.

Imagine the pivotal role that fuel places in your life and the level at which it has been jacked up, then reason how bad it is for the government to allow it skyrocketed. How is the government helping small businesses and assisting the poor people. Hence why we must appreciate those men that go out there to legitimately put food on the table.

The truth is that risky activities such as illegal refining of petroleum product that is killing many young people is clear case of failure of the governments. A lot of proposals have been made to convert those illegal refineries to modular refineries with the boys engaged as part of the refining process but it seems like our governments are not interested in anything that will end poverty in the country. They prefer to keep the youths unemployed so they can serve them as political thugs.

Nigeria is importing petroleum products when we have enough crude oil and manpower to process them for our domestic use and then export, but the politicians prefer to sell the raw crude oil and important finished products so they will steal money from the process.

I do not support illegal refineries neither do I support similar risky activities but I try to see reasons why those people do it... they are helpless and mostly the people from the areas where these crude oil are drilled yet nothing goes to them. They are living on top of wealth yet nothing goes to them as the evil Land Use Act gives everything below 6ft to the federal government. They are responding by taking laws into their hands and risking their lives as well.

Before i go further make I first say crime na choice, no matter di situation wey you find yourself wey fit to make you consider crime as an option to survive, many people don face similar situations but dem no choose crime.

Anyway di situation of di country don make many youths to go astray, when dem see oda people wey de into different kinds of criminal and illegal businesses, di way wey dem de live large go de give dem morale to join dem. E bad reach say nobody wan know di sources of wealth of others again, so e no matter how anybody take make dem money, people go de hail and expect make di money bag dash dem some money. I believe say if our government go sit up and begin to de arrest criminals and make dem face di full weight of di law, e go be deterant to upcoming criminals. Also make our society no de celebrate people wey we no sure of dem sources of wealth, imagine a small boy wey you know say im no get work, suddenly e go carry di latest expensive car enter town and people go de hail am.
