Indeed it was a good time to enter 5 months ago in December. Interestingly in the poll several voters believed that bitcoin would hit as low as $1200. Is that still possible? Yes, but will it go that low. Will there be enough fear and when? Where would the buyers enter if it could go below $2000?
All questions I'm sure we think about a lot.

It's because there's not enough volume, meaning just the same people playing around the market, either shorting or just long term holders or even speculators who uses bot to trigger another sell-off just like we witnessed in the last 48 hours.
So there's no fresh blood to pump the market and unless we hear some good news to come this month, we might see the price trading sideways or worst going to the lower lows or the edge of $3K.
Well that's something to expect since people have other priorities when it's holiday season. The price last december definitely would be a good time to take stocks but it's also giving time so many people don't have that much to spare.

If you bought bitcoin in the year of 2018 December you can get some profit last few days because bitcoin became $4000 again but the value of it decrease and now is $3600 again and don't be worry about that . You can enter bitcoin finally this year 2019 because it will be better the value compared last year 2018 when the whole year always decreasing the value. There is no need for you to think more just invest now your extra money.

Just set aside a cash or fund that you are prepared to lose when you are investing in a cryptocurrency like bitcoin. This kind of investment is always risky and if you are not yet prepared for this then educate yourself first on cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin stays below $4000 and still good to buy, many believes that the coin will further go down this year before pumping again.
That is correct, newbies have tendency though to buy 1 bitcoin in a hurry. There is a proven method that you can purchase in small amounts and gradually increase and you would not noticed that you have stash more than 1 bitcoin already. So I will say that since the price is tanking at $3-$4K, its still a good time to get in while they are still at a discount price.

I'd hardly call 4 people out of a total of 6 people who bothered to vote this poll a board consensus.
already on 2019 and price is tanking on 3000 above price but well its still not a sure thing if we can go below again or would just tank until the price would gradual increase on next months.No one knows.

December 2017 was a good time to sell Bitcoin if you are holding some at that time when Bitcoin reached its all time high. December 2018 is a good way to start over again if you still want to hold coins and sell when it reach another all time high. There are upcoming events that might hurt Bitcoin price again like the upcoming Chinese lunar new year where usually, price of BTC goes down before the event.

I think those who wanted to buy bitcoin at cheap price would have already done by now. We will not see such cheap prices of bitcoins again. On the other hand those who are asking that should be buy now or wait for 2000$ , are the ones who will never buy at any price and keep on thinking .
Yes it's never a good or bad time to invest in bitcoin it's the move which we make after investing which yields us the profit or loss, there were people.who were waiting for bitcoin to go back to $5k mark so that they can buy bitcoin and when bitcoin dropped down to under $4k still those people will not buy it.

To be honest I am still very doubtful about this problem, because there is still a possibility that the price of bitcoin will go down even further. maybe I will wait longer to buy.
If you are in doubt, its good that you don’t invest and stay away from the market for now because if you are not confident in investing, you might sold it when you incur some loses. IMO, investing right now is really fine as long you are ready to take risk go buy more good coins. Many investors believes that 2019 will be the pumping years of cryptocurrency, let’s believe on that too.

the biggest opportunity to put our money into bitcoin can be done now, because the movement of the price of bitcoin continues to decline to reach around $ 3,000. but before deciding to invest in bitcoin we must be able to understand the risks to be faced because bitcoin price movements are very fluctuating, we can lose the money we invest in bitcoin because bitcoin price movements cannot be accurately predicted by anyone. but if we choose bitcoin to be used as a long-term investment asset, there is a possibility that in the future market price movements can surge higher than now and we can get a bigger profit

I think it's a cheap price if you want to invest long term. crypto is normal if the price goes up and down which is important, don't panic, still believe if the price will rise and more than the previous ATH

If I had extra cash that I don't need I would buy Bitcoins. The price is cheap now but there is also possibility for further dump. Still this red situation on the market will not last forever and the market will recover so I wouldn't wait too long. Buying now is investment for the future and opportunity for new investors to come to the market and this will be good for everyone.

The bottom line could be anywhere but indeed this month the price of bitcoin is very low and for those who can buy more bitcoin i think they will feel the benefit from that however no necessary to have big cash to buy at least 1 bitcoin even you can buy it gradually from small amount and still not late to do so
