A DAO is a synonym for strong AI, and strong AI has missed its ship date by about 30 years.

Does it use its own equivalent of Fact Digitization?

It's not related to decentralized decision making.

An organization supposes there's an organizer at the head!
Not really, an organization supposes there are organized things... technology is doing pretty weird things these days, the idea of decentralized banking was nonsense a decade ago. DAC might have sense in the future.

Are you planning for Jinn to have some element of AI? Or maybe emergent AI is a by-product of how it works?

Yes.

You could then use a bottom-up design to merge alot of "small" DAC/DAO to a big one without setting a new complexity record or atleast saving some?

If there is a trapdoor to merge existing DAC with something else, then it can be used to hack and break everything.

btw. What was the ooutcome of your discussion? Mind to share?

My opinion remained the same: It's infeasible to create a full autonomous entity, the creator has to predict all possible situations or create an AI.

I see what you mean, but i think it depends on the working area/goal of the DAC/DAO.
Depending on what it does there could be only very limited possibilities of what can happen.

Tim Swanson seems to know something about DAOs https://twitter.com/ofnumbers/status/579794848179326976

More details would be great. Anyone?

Putting up 0.10BTC bounty* for some good and relevant info about this.

Would a decentralized exchange like Coinffeine fit the criteria/definition of a DAO entity?c

No I don't think. The definition of DAO:  A Decentralized Autonomous Organization (often abbreviated "DAO"; sometimes referred to as a Fully Automated Business Entity or Distributed Autonomous Corporation/Distributed Autonomous Company, often abbreviated "FAB" or "DAC") is a decentralized network of narrow-AI autonomous agents which perform an output-maximizing production function and which divides its labor into computationally intractable tasks (which it incentivizes humans to do) and tasks which it performs itself.

I have never seen a fully functional DAO.

Religions like muslim or christianity can be considered as a DAC .
I don't think Ethereum is a working example , it's more like an idea .   Decentralized apps based on ethereum platform ?  Lol ...

Wait a few days and you will see ethereum  Roll Eyes

Ethereum is not a DAC. It's a platform for DACs.

So we should wait the platform and after we can start to think about DACs.

Wouldnt it be possible to make a CloudStorage DAO with software from Storj or others.

Maybe, but the question is about a working solution, not a hypothetical one.

No at the moment doesn't exist a really and functionally DAC, we are still in an "experiment".
