I must confess that the information on this thread is very detailed and impressive. I learnt a lot from the information provided and its amazing that we have such a large number of decentralized exchange. I believe this thread would be of immense benefit to traders and every cryptocurrency enthusiast.
It is true that the above review is very useful for those of us who are new, but beforehand did you ever trust the exchange you are using, if at all possible, at least you should not go to another exchange first, look for valid info first for the exchange you will use besides the exchange previously because with this you can be confident to switch to another exchange and will not regret it in the end.

I have been using decentralized exchabges for last couple of years but im only in erc tokens so my choice of decentralized exchanges is idex, forkdelta, etherdelta and recently token store.
maybe your decentralized exchange system is the same as me for now, but yes why until now I still use exhange forkdelta and etherdelta, maybe because I am reluctant to switch to another exchange because maybe I am already comfortable and afraid that things that I don't want will happen happens if I switch to another exchange,

I see someone up there mention Uniswap, and if it looks as good and it performs as fast as advertised, then I don't see why we shouldn't just move onto new platforms like those. I'm only quite careful these days about seeing influencers and dev talk things up like how Vitalik Buterin did for Uniswap. He talked up Humaniq a long time ago and I made my mistake there Wink

We can follow this thread and hopefully will keep updating this thread.
I agree that we have a large number of DEX in the space but the problem is the trading volume because in overall it's still very low compared to the Centralized exchanges in total. That explains that people still trust centralized exchange more over the DEX and there less benefit if a project is listed in DEX.

I think the reason more people use centralized exchanges is not because they trust them more, but because they don't know what DEX exchange is. I think that when people educate about DEX, volumes on decentralized exchanges will start to grow. It's just a matter of time.

There are many decentralized exchanges in the market and we need to be very careful with those exchanges. Yes, in this thread you will find lots of information about the decentralized exchange, here everyone has shared their views according to their experiences. It will really help the newbie to get more knowledge about how to use decentralized exchanges..

It's better to read and research first before engaging to this kind of exchange. You need to make sure that you understand every premises in order not to have any issues with your assets. Decentralized exchange helps us to easily control our assets if you are very familiar with how things works around this market. Try to get more knowledge from your research and see what's fits to your needs.

but who is the one that  that dont do research  ? i think all of us will do a reseach before we engage on buying and selling a coin because we all dont want to loose our assets in the form of scam and hacks  . when it comes to accesibility , yes thats true that decentralized exchanges are more easier to navigate than the centralized one's because you can just import your keys , metamask or other methods to gain access to your wallet unlike to centralized exchange that mainly needs a sign up and other info's

Previously traded on the Delta. However, it had very poor functionality. And often braked. Today is the best solution exchange IDEX
I also do trade on etherdelta and forkdelter  but it has been long I used them to sell tokens.  The two decentralized exchange that come from each other do discourage trading to keep distance because of the "functionality "  I think I do prefer to used a centralized exchange more than decentralized one this days.

So far yes that's one of the dex with volume. After the hack of binance, a lot of users in the forum are recommending to use DEX for safer funds.  One that I have been using before was the WAVES DEX, it existed before IDEX but failed to generate more volume. I don't really see why DEX will be used often if there ain't no volume to it.
Many exchange always have the same reason their assets and market hacked, I can't trust it because how come an exchange market can be hacked with higher security level? what for giving reason their market hacked and why not give back investor money in their exchange account, always not responsibility owner of exchange market want giving back investor money.

One thing I've observe in some dex, they have a low trade volume, is it because it is not a user friendly? Even me, Im using dex in a very few transaction.

I have not tried working with decentralized exchanges yet, but after the article I doubt that it is worth going there. And now I understand why such hopes are put in relation to social networks and their cryptocurrencies. This will simplify the exchange system and possibly reduce fraud. After all, user identification in social networks is in contrast to DEX
None of them seem safe to me. All of them defeat the goal of “peer-to-peer” transactions, which give cryptocurrency so much value. We need to rise above the need for exchange and give everyone the opportunity to become their own bank. They are an obstacle to the universal acceptance and security of transactions, as they are easy to crack and can be closed by governments.
Dex is the most frequently created platform on the blockchain. And perhaps because of such a high proportion of fraudsters. Just in my opinion, the potential of the ICO projects was compromised by just such exchanges. I understand that in the future, an exchange system without intermediaries will find good execution and become more popular. But at the moment it’s hard to find a place with a good reputation.
Another disadvantage of decentralized exchange is it is not beginner friendly. If you are an absolute first timer, these platforms could be a little overwhelming for you. Moreover, there's a severe lack of awareness about decentralized exchanges. Unlike centralized exchanges, the decentralized exchange has yet to gain awareness.

Today is the best solution exchange IDEX

That's the most popular decentralized exchange now, but the volume has really gone down because the interest of ETH tokens has also dropped.
Currently, trading volume now is $1,753,150 USD but I hope a new competitor will operate in the market and will not only be limited for ETH and its tokens.

As of now, the price of ETH is really struggling at the current value which makes many potential coins losing their value in the market. From my experience, IDEX is very good decentralised exchange when compared to other exchanges out there in the market.

Doomed to see the future and unable to prevent it

A color code key would be nice.

For instance DEX's that require KYC should be in RED. Or maybe those that end up in the scam section should be red.

Anyway it would be helpful to be able to weed out this shit scam ones.

I tried Binance but got warned I was in a KYC area so it would be good to have that stuff noted in the OP.

It seems you are accessing www.binance.org from an IP address belonging to one of the following countries:

United States of America, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Belarus, Congo (DRC), Côte d'Ivoire, Crimea, Cuba, Iraq, Iran, Japan, North Korea, Liberia, Macedonia, Myanmar, Serbia, Sudan, Syria, Zimbabwe.

Please note that by 12 September 2019 (UTC 00:00), trading and accessing to the wallet interface through www.binance.org will no longer be available to users with IP address from the countries listed above.

For alternatives and solutions, please see this document

BTW the link for the document stated is just a list of other compatible wallets you can use. I guess to get around the kyc barrier but who is to say they won't just stop accepting connections from those if they are doing a check now.

Decentralized margin trading.
Powered by Uniswap, Compound, and DAI
Compound is a money markets platform, Uniswap is a decentralized exchange,
and DAI is a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar - all open protocols on the Ethereum network.
