Ethereum, eos, bitcoin cash, litecoin cash. actually there are more altcoins that have potential and good to invest for long term purposes. It is nice if you try to buy some of the mention coins.

I would invest in some promising altcoin it will go to the moon. But 2 years it is some for investing in BTC
No one wants to invest in such a high amount in a currency that he can not be sure of what will happen in the future. it may not be that much money for you, but because of the currency appreciation in my country, this money is about 70k. if I have that kind of money and should be used to invest in crypto, I will choose bitcoin because in my opinion bitcoin is the best coin for long-term investment and certainly the bigger the profit.
if I have $ 10,000 and I have to choose just one altcoin then I will choose Ethereum, I will hold the altcoin until 2020, I am sure it will benefit very much, but I will not hold back until 2020, I will sell my assets when that value benefit me.

Bitcoin and ethereum is widely adopted by so many people, it can't be considered as security token, they have big communities, A lot of exchange has already supported both of coins and many more.
I would not put all the money into one crypto currency. It is better to buy a couple. For example, Ether and Litecoin. As for me, very promising crypto-currencies. After all, you do not know the outcome of future events. And so risk, I could not. But it's up to you to decide.
