I just think the marketing of the onion team is fantastic. But!!!He didn't elaborate on the development of Onions!I see every day in the BBS discussion posts about Onions, most of them are promoting the participation of onion, attract more people to participate, and for the introduction of the development team and the update of onion, is just a few.

Hah, a new registered account...

BTW, did you see there is a big volume trading in last several days? How can you prove that the big whale dumped the coins? In order to get more coins, I actually bought a lot. I believe this project is worth to invest, and then I just buy the coin.

it was not a scam at first, which participated in the first round have won a lot more.
From the Airdrop 15 the team decided to adopt this system so those who were there from the beginning will be the big winner and the new win the crumbs.
I applied for this airdrop without knowing the new rules but when I knew them I decided to go away

If 100 DO cost 70$ you will only win 10 DO so 7$ i does not make sense, and if the price decrease a the end of all the round because all the whale have dump you can earn more less

yes indeed, as I mentione din my first post, it became a dumping machine for the DO whales.

Sad to say yes. But I think on the other side they are allowing new hodlers. Yet it is absurd in a way that you should have 100 DO.

I like the DO name though from the start as it was the start of anonymity in the web and fair to include them as part of the crypto as with same part of the privacy.

That's sad because they're making the whole Airdrop a Big Joke and most people don't realize their next move. They have to make sure that token receivers will invest more to Deep Onion aside of free tokens. Perhaps they're making this in order to gather more expectant and investors.

It was a scam from the start. This is just the exit scam stage, particularly now that the only exchange trading this coin (Nova) is shutting down operations. From the start, they refused payment to more than half of their "airdrop" participants. They've been scamming free advertising for months.

There's also a large number of hacked forum accounts tied to their campaign; I suspect that a lot of the accepted airdrop participants are the Deep Onion developers themselves. Now that they are requiring their "airdrop" participants to buy Onions, and removing the 90% rule, it's obvious that this is the "dump" stage of the pump-and-dump.

What a shame, it looked like it had real potential. Will be staying well away from it. Thanks for the info.

Yeah me too. This is my first into the crypto scene and my friend told me to start with airdrops if I don't have a capital yet and Deep Onion was supposed to be what i was joining. Unfortunately this didn't turn out as it's supposed to be.

There are a lot of similar threads around the forum. Just stay away from it. It really looks like scam for enrichment of founders.

Imagine, you're following their Airdrops for the number of times then suddenly they're gonna require from participants something beyond their tokens received. What a mess!

yes exactly the point, and if you look at the big picture it would be a DUMPING machine for the large holders. If one large holder gets 7k coins/ week and there are 70 new participants buying 100 coins each, he can just dump it all to them and re-buy just the day before the new airdrop, and repeats over and over again.

That's kind of hilarious in a sad way.

But then again, I'd advise staying away from all airdrops. You never know how many coins the "dev" team holds because it's easy and cheap to buy hundreds of sockpuppet accounts to redeem airdrops and manipulate the coin. And they have too much control anyway... just look at Onion.

Yeah man, look at their forum right now, new members are complaining and the mods are there acting like GODS saying they deserve more as they stayed longer. I mean For christ sake, what kind of airdrop does this? You invite people to join, but you obviously want to keep the coin for yourself as well?lol

So i was scouting BCT for some new airdrops and found the Deep Onion one. It seems to have a solid community at first but upon deep research in their forum it seems like there's a problem with their new airdrop system. The new participants are now required 100 Onions to participate and the previously BCT rank based distribution was changed to a percentage. This sounds fine when you first here it but when you do the math, all the top holders will be holding 1/8 of the total airdrop distribution system!! There is a very large gap with the old participants vs the new ones, imagine the top holders having 100K onions that receives 7k onions a week vs new participants which receives a mere 7 PIECES - that's right you read it properly, 7 pieces.

And to think that they removed the 90% hold rule, the top holders gaining a massive 1000 times Onion per week could just dump their onions to all the new participants who needs to buy 100 pieces to participate in the supposedly "FREE" airdrop.
