Great news for the people who want to join. deeponion is now allowing junior members and new accounts created up to 1st september 2017 to join the airdrop.
this is to help the coin spread to more people and to allow people with the skills to help but could not join before. click my sig links to join up
Posts like this make me regret about how late I am in Bitcointalk!! Sad
@askmecrypto
just continue increasing your activities until you rank up.
Who knows someday the devs would again extend the registration date needed for airdrop applicants.
.
And you are not yet late in joining bitcointalk.
It is continuously developing.
Day will come where another coin will come out and will require the support of new members.

I think I'll be staying away from this one.  I don't believe this is a trustworthy coin to get involved with.  Be careful.

The airdrop does not required any investment, only a contribution in active community participation. You don't pay either with giving up privacy either (its an deep anonymous coin! Grin).

So not much left to be careful about..
You are not forced to join, but you are allowed to join with no investment at all.

MOst of the people who are angry about this coin were not allowed to join the FREE airdrop. Well since it is FREE it does not give you any rights to anything. If the devs and mods decided you are not a valuable addition or are breaking the rules they are fully entitled to!

Again, nothing to worry about with regards to scams etc.

YES, the dev could sell all his coins driving the price down, it will also be the end of the coin. But if he had the intention to do so, the best timing would have been a the spike of the price. BUt instead he invested in forum software, and ven more free giveways.
In the end, the dev is entitled to 10% of the coins, for his hard work. This is fully transparent through the block chain and at the end the devs end up with 10% of the coins, which is not strange since many ICO's and other coins have similar percentages.

Just make up your own mind and see if you want to participate for free..  (if registered before Sept 1st)

that is the reason the price fell so much on the spike
it just does not have enough volume to hold the price high enough time
and this airdrop program is just for this... bring more people so they can hold the price in average state and keep selling their coins..
thats the reason they made this "new" program.. people started to leave the coin
but tell me the main idea of the coin? if not serving the developer greed
there are plenty TOR integrated coins, that were not premined at all

It's clearly not an airdrop then. Maybe you guys should stop calling it that?

They repeatedly changed the rules without updating the ANN thread -- and they did so midway through the airdrop rounds. At first, referral links were not required. Neither was involvement on the Deep Onion forums. I was accepted into the airdrop, and I followed the rules.

I was blacklisted due to rule changes mid-round. I was told that if I kept following the rules and participating in the community, that I would be allowed back in. After a month of being lied to about that, I gave up.

People are joining because of the coin price which has spiked as no one is allowed to sell more than 10% but the problem with this idea is that owner or the early adopter could dump allot at once and the price will be dirt cheap again. Also they've banned allot of members for no reason.

oh no. even more people with this sig. btw: are they paid per post? or do they need to make a minimum amount of postings in a week?

this is biggest sig-bounty-programm i ever saw here. a lot of people are working for the profit of the devs.

you need 10 quality posts per week of 50 characters or more. the more active and supportive you are the more you get. we are not paid per post no.
That's exactly what I was thinking.  Letting junior members into sig campaigns is a horrible idea.  That means a legion of alt accounts who shitpost will be the ones who join up, guaranteed.  Don't know if this is a legit project or not, but deep onion should go the way that the SMAS members have gone--Full members and above ONLY.  Yes, it might lead to account sales, but that's already happening anyway.  I have serious doubts as to whether noobs can make quality posts.  Most of the garbage on bitcointalk is due to members below Senior.

Remember the Yobit and Secondstrade campaigns?  They let in anyone with a pulse, and those two alone were responsible for the vast majority of shitposting crap that made its way to this forum.

Thanks for posting this.  I was just starting to look for a new sig campaign and was disappointed in the past that I had just missed the first cut-off by a few weeks ... I'm really glad they pushed the cut off date back.  Now I'm just waiting to see if they approve me.

With this recent change I am sure a lot of people will be happy as they were waiting for a chance like this. So get started people and join the most happening Airdrop team that you might have ever come across.

Great team, great support, and wonderful dev, what more one needs.

Just follow the normal norms that are laid out and you all will be good.

How often are you paid? Weekly ? I see deeponion advertising all over the place. I am sure everyone knows about them already.

This is a hard choice now, shall I get out of the current sig campaign to join the Deep Onion one or stay put Huh Not sure how much junior members will receive compare to others.

I would stay put. I advertised for Deep Onion for nearly a month and got absolutely nothing for it. I followed all the rules, week after week, and was continually told to "keep supporting Deep Onion" and "eventually" I would be allowed to join the "airdrop." They strung me along for weeks and I have lost all hope. It's insulting that they go around calling it an airdrop.

Anyway, it's probably for the best. At least it pushed me to research what a scam it is. Staking a huge pre-mine and openly scamming most of the advertisers?

Frankly, I hope that DT1/DT2 members start tagging Deep Onion moderators with negative trust. It's not enough that only the lead dev is tagged. Every aspect of this project is a scam, and the forum is overrun with advertisements for it.

Hello. Bye.
Deep onion is one of the best signature campaigns around. They are working day after day to enhance the forums, just about to add a marketplace as well.

I dont like the way that deeponion is treating his users.. maybe it is a good strategy to keep more volume in the markets and create more owners of their tokens, but what is the purpose of giving all this tokens for free? i dont understand why.. I heard that you need to wait at least 60 days to be able to dump your coins, so when everybody dumps their coins, the price is going to explode.

This will expand the deeponion community which is already comparatively big. Better get in there quick before they change the requirements. Don't forget to join the deeponion official forum as well - it's mandatory now.
